HOCKEY REIMAGINED
The Hockey One League is Australia’s national hockey league, giving our fans the chance to see the best of the best compete in fast and exciting games played across Australia from October to December each year.
There are seven founding clubs, each with a womens and mens teams: Adelaide Fire, Brisbane Blaze, Canberra Chill, HC Melbourne, NSW Pride, Perth Thundersticks, and Tassie Tigers. All teams play three home games and three away games in the October/November period, with the Finals Series involving the top 4 mens and top 4 womens teams in a central location.
The fixture features 21 double-header days and a family friendly format, giving fans of all ages and abilities the chance to experience world class hockey.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA’S ELITE
The Perth Thundersticks are Western Australia’s premier hockey franchise with the best female and male players in our great state representing in the Hockey One League.
The Hockey One League is Australia’s national hockey league and one of the only national leagues that is truly gender equal. This is reflected across playing conditions, media exposure, broadcast and scheduling.
Our Perth Thundersticks feature some of Australia’s top hockey talent - players destined to progress to Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Cups through the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras teams.
The Perth Thundersticks play home matches at Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University and compete against teams from across the country. Matches are broadcast across major media channels, with current broadcasts, live and free, on 7 Plus, and valuable commercial opportunities exist in a league that has broad exposure across the country.
