Friendship
Poem 1
Poem 3
You are a person who makes life easier and better for everyone around you. Your continual acts of thoughtfulness and kindness brighten each day. What you did for me will glow in my memory, reviving pleasant feelings every time I think about it. I appreciate you, and I thank you.
There is in friendship just a bit of Eden, Harboring our early innocence, Acting out of pleasure in our pleasure, Not calculating cost or recompense, Knowing the abundance that we breed in. Your friendship is a book that I may read in, Opening a truth I cannot measure Unless it be with signs or sacraments
Poem 2 I want to tell you "Thank you," But it doesn’t seem enough. Words don’t seem sufficient-"Blah, blah" and all that stuff. Please know I have deep feelings About your generous act. I really appreciate you; You’re special, and that’s a fact!
Poem 4 Thank you, friend, for all the things That mean so much to me-For concern and understanding You give abundantly. Thanks for listening with your heart; For cheering me when I'm blue; For bringing out the best in me; And just for being you. Thanks for in-depth conversation That stimulates my brain; For silly times we laugh out loud; For things I can't explain. For looking past my flaws and faults; For all the time you spend; For all the kind things that you do, Thank you; thank you, friend.
Poem 5 Someone to lean on when problems appear, Someone on whom you’d depend, Someone who’ll lift you when you’re down in the dumps, That someone is truly a friend. That’s how I feel about you my dear friend; You’re so special just as you are. Just to know that you’re there provides comfort to spare; A friendship like yours sets the bar. ----------------------------------------------
Poem 6 Because you are my friend, my life is enriched in a myriad of ways. Like a cool breeze on a sweltering day, like a ray of sunshine parting glowering clouds, you lift me up. In good times, we soar, like weightless balloons over neon rainbows. In bad times, you are soothing balm for my pummeled soul. I learn so much from you; you help me see old things in new ways. I wonder if you are aware of the bright seeds you are sowing in me.

Poem 7
I'm a better person for knowing you, so that everyone I interact with is touched by your good effect on me. You relax me, refresh me, renew me. Your bounteous heart envelops me in joy and love and peace. May your life be filled with dazzling blessings, just as I am blessed by being your friend.
Poem 8 Treasured friend, I’m glad I found you; Our friendship is a gift we share. I can be myself around you, Safe in your love and care. I miss you when you’re out of sight; Our friendship bond was meant to be. I think of you with great delight; You’re almost part of me. Through fun and fears, play and tears, We help each other heal and grow. I prize our time--the days, the years, More than you can know. Just harmony for me and you, The two of us--a perfect blend. I’ll cherish you my whole life through, My dear and treasured friend.

Love
Poem 1
Poem 3
If not for you, I wouldn’t know What true love really meant. I’d never feel this inner peace; I couldn’t be content. If not for you, I’d never have The pleasures of romance. I’d miss the bliss, the craziness, Of love’s sweet, silly dance. I have to feel your tender touch; I have to hear your voice; No other one could take your place; You’re it; I have no choice. If not for you, I’d be adrift; I don’t know what I’d do; I’d be searching for my other half, Incomplete, if not for you. _________________________________
How did this miracle happen That we're so very blessed, So close…and more contented, Than I ever would have guessed. I never thought that I Could spend each precious minute With just one special person And find happiness within it. I've learned so much from you About loving, sharing, giving; I know if I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be really living. We're facing life together; We're handling joy and sorrow; I'm glad you're on my side, Whatever comes tomorrow. You're my perfect partner, Sweet lover, trusted friend. We're safe within our love, A love that will never end.
Poem 2 My thoughts of you are like raindrops on flowers... Beautiful. My thoughts of you are like a rainbow at a splashing waterfall... Beautiful. My thoughts of you are like a full moon shining through a cloudy night sky... Beautiful. No matter what wonders my eyes have seen, Nothing compares to the beauty I see when I look at you. My love for you is beautiful.
Poem 4
Let me sing you a love song About what I feel in my heart; Butterflies can't find nectar Whenever we're apart. You're a flower in bloom. In the dark, in the gloom, It's you who brightens my day. How many ways do I need you? Every day, every way, come what may.

Motivation
Poem 1
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
Poem 2
Climbing higher mountains I will not descend downward Until after I have conquered that fear Clasping stars within my hands They shall not stray from my touch I am a dreamer My wings lie in my mind Where they allow me to divide the clouds As I ascend through their cotton-like tufts One cannot pierce my heart with any arrow It is filled with pure bliss and compassion No one will ever be able to seize that from me Although at times my eyes may look wounded My strength has never fled
Poem 3
Never stop believing in yourself. When others doubt, don't you. Do what you love to do, No one knows better than you. Life is too short to live others' dreams Follow your own dream Push yourself to reach your goals And live the life you once dreamed. Trust your instincts. Be true to yourself. You know what is right for you. Never give up or give in. Forget the words "I don't know how". You can learn, You can research, You can do. Your mind is powerful. When you believe you can. You will find a way You won't waste a day. Persist and persevere Do not fear Because if you believe in you You will find dreams can come true. May all your dreams turn into goals, Believe in yourself. And remember, all of life is a choice. The decision is up to you.
Poem 4 There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be, that's when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down, but those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself and all that you are capable of. There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them. Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are, so when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be, because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.
Poem 5
Today life gave you another slap but don't give it up throwing your towel in the ring for things gone wrong, for words that sting 'cos there must be another way you will see it in the light of another day When everything seems sour, not in your favour look around until you find better flavour so, don't just give but live it up pick up the pieces, be tough grind your teeth and turn another cheek don't give it up, that's exactly what they seek It's too easy to walk away quitter never wins so you should better stay look challenges straight in the eye don't say yet the last good-bye fight like an animal in a trap but don't give it up

Happiness
Poem 1 Men spend their lives in anticipations, in determining to be vastly happy at some period when they have time. But the present time has one advantage over every other—it is our own. Past opportunities are gone, future have not come. We may lay in a stock of pleasures, as we would lay in a stock of wine; but if we defer the tasting of them too long, we shall find that both are soured by age. -------------------------------------------
Poem 2 The chances are that you have already come to believe that happiness is unattainable. But men have attained it. And they have attained it by realising that happiness does not spring from the procuring of physical or mental pleasure, but from the development of reason and the adjustment of conduct to principles.
