Architecture's greatest potential for the city is in the formation of small-scale perceptual and tectonic ideas aimed at binding the work to a larger urban fabric. The city is interpreted as set of line drawings which induces the creation of a line/volume relationship.

wrap
PRESSURE FROM LINES ON VOLUME
The duality of lines and volumes enables a dialogue between the two. The integral approach in making the linear systems and volumetric enclosures intersect is what defines the urban strategy. The result of mutual integration, segregation, and choreographed encounter between these two systems defines the unique tectonic and spatial conditions of the building.
