Karrke Aborignal Cultural Experience
The local indigenous community invite you learn more about their ancient culture. This one hour immersion experience, known as the Karrke Aboriginal Experience is lead by members of the local indigenous community who will take your on a journey of their ancient culture and connectedness to the land through their weapons, musical instruments, bush tucker and medicines and the evolution and meaning of their language.

Imagine the romance of a table for two in a wilderness setting under a canopy of the Southern Night sky. The only light comes from the moon and the flickering glow of the fire. Kings Canyon Scenic Climb
Your guide will escort you on the rocky climb to the rim of Kings Canyon. The views of Watarrka National Park from the top of the canyon are magnificent as are the views down into the canyon itself. Follow the rim of the canyon stopping to view the canyon gorge at look-out points. Time permitting, you may choose to descend to the green oasis of the 'Garden of Eden'. The walk may take up to 3 hours and is rocky and steep in parts. It is for those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to take an easier, shorter walk to explore the boulder strewn canyon floor with our Driver/Guide.

3 DAYS ULURU & KATA TJUTA EXPERIENCE
Day 1 Kata Tjuta Sunset
This afternoon enjoy a leisurely drive to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) for one of our favourite sunset experiences in Central Australia. Along the way your Driver Guide will explain the geological and cultural history of the area. Marvel at the unique flora and admire the view of the central valley of the domes of Kata Tjuta while you take in a magnificent outback sunset and relax with canapés and Australian wines. Return to your hotel approximately 1 hour after sunset.
Day 2 Uluru Sunrise and Kata Tjuta & Uluru Sacred Sights and Sunset
Rise early this morning to travel to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku, the Uluru Sunrise Viewing Area. Watch the first rays of sun light up the desert while enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee. After sunrise travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The 1.3km walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. With plenty of time, travel to the Uluru Sunset Viewing Area where you can relax with a sparkling wine or two while you enjoy a famous Uluru sunset. Witness the incredible changing colours as the sun sets below the horizon. You’ll arrive back at Ayers Rock Resort 30 minutes after sunset.
Day 3 Uluru Sunrise & Field of Light
This morning you will to be taken the short distance to the exclusive Field of Light location. Arriving in complete darkness, in the quiet of pre-dawn, this once in a lifetime experience will be etched in your mind forever. Enjoy walking through the field of 50,000 globes of light at your own pace, where Desert Oaks seemingly appear from nowhere as the dawn light creeps above the horizon, then make your way up to the top of a large sand dune to the Field of Light sunrise viewing area. Enjoy your drink as the sun starts to rise and lights up the surrounding desert. Watch in awe as it pops up behind Uluru, flooding the landscape with light. From the viewing area you can see both Uluru and Kata Tjuta while the desert comes to life. After sunrise you will be transported back to your hotel.

4 Days Red Centre Highlights
Day 1: Welcome to Uluru! (Ayers Rock) - This afternoon experience one of our favourite Sunset experiences in Central Australia at Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Learn the geological and cultural history of the area and marvel at the unique flora and views of the central valley of the domes all while you enjoy gourmet canapés and Australian wine.
Day 2: Kings Canyon - Today you journey to Kings Canyon; learn the intriguing story of owners, Ian and Lynn Conway and their dedication to Aboriginal children in the region’s remote communities. Now get ready for hike to remember; The Kings Canyon rim walk takes approximately 3 hours to complete and is rocky and steep in parts with spectacular views of Watarrka National Park. It is recommended for those with a good level of fitness. Day 3: Uluru (Ayers Rock) & Kata Tjuta (Olgas) - Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre alight while enjoying a warming cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Afterwards you set off to the mystical domes of Kata Tjuta. On the way enjoy panoramic views before arriving at Walpa Gorge to take a walk that follows the natural creek-bed between two of the main domes. In the afternoon you will visit Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre before travelling around the base of Uluru. Learn about the native flora, fauna and intriguing cultural traditions of traditional owners, the Anangu, and discover an array of sacred sites. Join your guide for a walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole and explore caves and view Aboriginal rock paintings. In the evening you will relax with a glass of wine and Nibbles as the sun sets over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour for which Uluru is renowned.
