Day 6: Palm Cove to Uluru (2 nights)

Today’s adventure commences with a private sedan transfer from your tranquil abode in Palm Cove to Cairns Airport. From there, your journey takes you to the skies as you wing your way inland to the iconic Uluru. Day 7: Uluru

On today’s adventure you join your SEIT Outback Guide to explore the most profound and culturally significant monolith in Australia. Departing the resort, the tour will travel through the landscapes to the entrance of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. From this point, it is only a matter of minutes before the spectre of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country. Our first stop allows you a photographic opportunity of this amazing icon. With Uluru looming in front of you, you journey toward the base. As you drive

around the base, your guide will take you to the entrance of Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn the Creation stories of Liru (venomous snake) and Kuniya (woma python) as well as a number of other stories associated with other prominent Tjukurpa (Creation) stories. You will see the rock art of the Anangu people and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. We then adjourn to the new Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the background as the sun sets. This brochure is valid until 31 March 2024 unless otherwise stated. All information and details were correct at time of publishing (September 2023), however Australia New Zealand Central Reservation Office (ANZCRO) reserves the right to amend any details without noticed. AU$ or NZ$ 1,000 per person is required within 10 days of your holiday confirmation. Some tours/special accommodation have their own deposit regulations, which you will be made aware of at the time of booking.

Payments can be made to your Travel Advisor or through Bank Transfer to ANZCRO Bank Accounts in Australia & New Zealand.

If you prefer to make payments using a Credit Card, there is a processing fee of 4% applicable, of which 2% will be added to the booking amount and 2% will be charged via the payment link. This covers all charges related to Credit Card Merchant Facilities.

AMENDMENTS/FEES

Prior to documents being issued the first time amendment is FREE. All additional amendments are liable to a maximum charge of $35 per amendment.

We have no control over the facilities or services themselves or the manner in which they are provided by the Suppliers. If, of your own choice, you decide not to use part or parts of the arranged services or facilities, you will not be entitled to a refund from us. In the event that you have a problem whilst travelling, please take up the matter immediately with the Supplier. We would not want any unresolved problem to mar your travel experience, and this provides an opportunity to have the matter discussed, investigated and remedied on the spot.
