Day 2 - Monday - The Remarkables Head up to the ‘Remarks’. Mountain transfers will pick up the team for a day on the slopes. Includes freestyle training with The Remarkables freestyle coaches. Afternoon après ski in Queenstown. Day 3 - Tuesday - Cardrona Off to Cardrona for a day’s riding, with freestyle coaching by Cardrona performance trainers. Tonight enjoy the Big Night Out, Queenstown Bar Crawl & hosted group dinner, showcasing Queenstown by night. Day 4 - Wednesday - Explore Queenstown, or take an extra day’s riding No riding on Wednesday unless you have arranged a Heliboarding or an additional day lift pass from your host. This is an epic day to soak up Queenstown, or team up to get into the adrenaline buzz: skydiving, bungy jump, dirt biking, 4wd quad tours, jet boating, can be all booked by your Ski Express host. This is Harris Mountains Heli-Skiing, the perfect escape from the everyday and the perfect way to recharge your senses.

Ideally you are a strong intermediate skier/boarder or better, with a sense of adventure. Harris Mountains Heli-Ski has exclusive access to extensive terrain including easy rolling terrain for powder first timers, wide open bowls and challenging chutes with steep valleys for the more experienced. How does the Heli-ski day work? After an early morning weather check, we collect you from your accom & take you to the staging area. Start with a safety briefing covering avalanche transceivers, helicopter and mountain safety, before flying off to the first heli-ski run. All groups meet for a alpine buffet lunch with time to relax. The afternoon is back to the ultimate - more heli-ski runs.

Do I need powder skis? No but the new wide body powder skis will assist you to ski even better, we can recommend a variety of hire equipment retailers.

How long are the runs? Run length varies depending on the terrain and snow conditions. Our exclusive terrain offers runs that vary between 2000 and 2500 vertical feet of treeless skiing in sheltered basins, bowls and wide rolling mountain flanks through to steep and gnarly chutes.

Roundhill is very layed back and easy for families, your welcome to park your car right next to the slopes and unpack a picnic, pull out a BBQ and the deck chairs, and watch the kids learn to ski. Very relaxed and friendly, it’s where Kiwi families like to ski!

Terrain 2 T-Bars, opening up to wide intermediate groomed runs, and Terrain Park for most abilities, Roundhill is also host to the World’s longest & steepest rope tow, with Australasia biggest vertical drop (783m), a must for the adventurous skier or snowboarder! trails with easy progression to be skiing or snowboarding from the very top of the mountain in no time!

Getting there

Hot tip If self-driving, stop along the lakefront on the way down to watch the sunset over the turquoise Lake Tekepo, snow covered Southern Alps and Aoraki Mt Cook, the highest mountain in New Zealand. Taking the time to stop & soak in the alpine scenery is the perfect end to a great day out on Roundhill!

A non-refundable deposit of $110 per person is required within 6 days of confirmation. This will guarantee your confirmed holiday price. Snow Season

ANZCRO reserves the right to charge a late booking fee of $33 to cover additional costs associated with bookings made within 10 days of travel.

Snow & ski conditions are entirely subject to natural weather conditions. ANZCRO does not take responsibility for snow & ski quality. Generally in New Zealand the ski season operates from mid-June to the end of September. ANZCRO takes no responsibility for the start and finish dates for skiing at any New Zealand ski fields.

First time amendment is FREE. All additional amendments are liable to a maximum charge of $33 per amendment. Once Travel Documents have been issued, all amendments will be charged. Airline tickets have additional amendment charges. Please ask your Travel Agent. Note: If amendments are made, pricing for the full item will reflect the exchange rate valid at the time of the amendment.

Refunds ANZCRO: • Unused Car hire - NIL • Unused Accommodation/Sightseeing vouchers refunded at the sole discretion of ANZCRO Product & Service providers are unable to authorise any refund on ANZCRO behalf. Any refunds due cannot be processed until the relevant funds have been returned by suppliers to ANZCRO.

ANZCRO and its associated companies and their employees are not liable for: (a) Any event beyond their control, including (but not limited to) war, disturbances, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, act of God, act of government or other authorities, accident or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action (whether or not including ANZCRO employees), nor (b) Any act or omission whatsoever (whether within or outside its control) in relation to any booking, contract, travel, accommodation, excursion or other holiday services (including the carriage of baggage) which results in any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage, death, injury, delay, liability, additional expenses or inconvenience. (c) ANZCRO does not own or operate any tour product or service listed in this brochure. ANZCRO is a tour wholesaler who arranges the provision of the products & services listed. ANZCRO does not take responsibility for the omission or failure of individual properties, plant or services detailed in this brochure.

A valid passport is required by all travellers to New Zealand. Those not travelling on an Australian Passport may require a Visa. This is the travellers responsibility. Air Tickets and Travel Vouchers will be issued after full payment has been received by ANZCRO. Documents will be forwarded to the Travel Agent by standard mail. If Express Post or a Courier is required, a fee will be charged at ANZCRO’s discretion.
