Located in the Joshinetsu National Park, 1 hour northeast of Nagano, or 5 hours by road from Tokyo. Bullet Train to Nagano is an option, and the resort is close to Haukuba and Nozawa Onsen if you want to visit all 3 resorts.

Unearth new runs and villages between the 52 lifts, 84 runs over 50km area, with a summit elevation of 2300m and views on a clear day to Mt Fuji and out to the oceans. 40% Beginner, 30% Intermediate, 30% Advanced terrain. Rusutsu

Rusutsu Resort has some of the most incredible powder and tree skiing to be found anywhere in the world with the terrain park known as one of the country’s best. Excellent family resort spread over three skiable peaks, there is terrain for all levels, a modern lift network, amazing champagne powder and plenty of non-ski activities to explore, including an indoor wave pool and karaoke bars.

Located 90 minutes southwest of Sapporo, 90 minutes from New Chintose Airport, and only 40 minutes away from Niseko. You can get from Rusutsu to Niseko for the day as part of a guided tour.

With an average snowfall of 14m the resort is also nicknamed the “white room”, offering endless off-piste powder runs as well as exceptionally groomed terrain on 37 runs. There is also a terrain park and halfpipe. 30% Beginner, 40% Intermediate and 30% Advanced terrain, fit for anyone who loves or is learning to ski or snowboard powder.

A family friendly resort, the aprèsski options at Rusutsu resort are wide and varied – a large selection of restaurants, game centres, an indoor wave pool, a large hot springs bath-house and the everpresent karaoke rooms ensure there is something for everyone.

Furano is famous for blue sky days, fresh champagne powder, long groomed runs, high speed lifts, and magnificent views. Located 4 hours by coach from Sapporo, in the centre of Hokkaido.

Spoilt for choice with quaint local Japanese bars in the downtown area, including some western style bars, evening hot springs, massages, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, ice hole fishing or dressing up in a kimono are all on the menu for alternate entertainment in Furano. A holiday In Furano is as much about exploring the apre- ski and activities as it is skiing!

Terrain: From beginners to advanced skiing if you like groomed runs, Furano is for you. As off-piste skiing and tree skiing is strictly prohibited there are plenty of back country tours to choose from to keep the powder hound happy. There are 10 lifts on the resort, 40% Beginner, 40% Intermediate & 20% Advanced terrain.

Booking Information & Conditions Validity This brochure is valid for sale from Jan 15 for travel from Jun to Oct 15 unless otherwise stated. All details in this brochure reflect information available to Australia New Zealand Central Reservations Office Ltd (herein after referred to as ANZCRO) at the time of printing (Jan 2015). ANZCRO reserves the right to amend any details without notice. Ask your Travel Agent to confirm details at the time of booking. Ski Express Japan: Japan Holidays Pty Ltd, ACN 126 792 916, ABN 67 520 167 114, is the Tour operator of these packages.

Deposits A non-refundable deposit of $110 per person is required within 6 days of confirmation. This will guarantee your confirmed holiday price. Some activities/products have their own strict deposit regulations which you will be made aware of at the time of booking. Failure to pay the deposit within 6 days of confirmation will result in automatic cancellation of all travel arrangements.

Payments Full payment is due 30 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 30 days of intended travel are to be paid in full immediately upon confirmation. Current valid prices will be advised on request & confirmation by way of invoice to your Travel Agent when your booking is made. Pricing will be guaranteed only after ANZCRO has received total payment.

Documentation A valid passport is required by all travellers to New Zealand & Japan. Those not travelling on an Australian Passport may require a Visa. This is the travellers responsibility. Air Tickets and Travel Vouchers will be issued after full payment has been received by ANZCRO. Documents will be forwarded to the Travel Agent by standard mail. If Express Post or a Courier is required, a fee will be charged at ANZCRO’s discretion.
