TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive into Sydney

Start your holiday in beautiful Sydney on Australia’s east coast. On arrival you’ll be transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the afternoon to relax or explore.

Parkroyal Darling Harbour (4 nights)

Day 2 - Explore Sydney

Make the most of your day by using your Sydney Unlimited Attractions Pass; with over 30 attractions to choose from there’s something for everyone. Whether you want to get up close with some animals at Taronga Zoo, cruise around the harbour on the Sydney Explorer or visit the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Day 3 - Blue Mountains

This morning you’ll be picked up early to venture into the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains region. Begin your day by getting up close with the Koalas at Featherdale Wildlife Park before your guide will take you off the beaten track to see some of the iconic views and stunning waterfalls that this region is famous for. Enjoy a delicious 2 course lunch in the village of Blackheath as well as a glass of sparkling to end the day at Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens.

Day 4 - Day at Leisure

Head out and take advantage of the last day of your Unlimited Attractions Pass to make sure you’ve not missed any of what Sydney has to offer.

Day 5 - Sydney to Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Depart Sydney today on your journey to the Red Centre and the iconic Uluru. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure to take it all in.

Voyages Desert Gardens (2 nights)

Day 6 - Experience Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Start the morning with your guide by travelling to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park where you’ll have the best views of sunrise over Uluru and the desert. Enjoy a gourmet picnic breakfast and then explore Walpa Gorge with its massive natural domes. In the evening you’ll get to experience a night under the stars at Sounds of Silence with a bush tucker inspired buffet.

Day 7 - Uluru (Ayers Rock) to Alice Springs

In the afternoon your coach will take you on a journey between Ayers Rock and Alice Springs, through some of the most beautiful and rugged scenery that the outback has to offer. Along the way your guide will keep you informed on all the key landmarks to look out for while sharing some local history and stories on the many sacred sites you will pass through.

Day 8 - Fly to the Tropical North

Say goodbye to the red centre and make your way to Tropical North Queensland where you will be transferred from Cairns Airport to Port Douglas. This is a beautiful drive right along the coast.

Day 9 - Kuranda Day Tour

This morning you’ll be transferred to Skyrail which will take you on an amazing experience over Australia’s World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest where you can enjoy Ranger guided boardwalk tours and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre, lookouts and historical displays. You will then board the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway which was built over 120 years ago and winds its way through the tropical mountain ranges between Cairns and Kuranda.

Day 10 - Day at Leisure

Today enjoy Port Douglas at your leisure, with plenty of great restaurants and bars or you could choose to venture out to the Daintree National Park.

Day 11 - Reef Cruise & Snorkel

Sailaway invites you to enjoy a day to remember with a reef and island cruise to Low Isles. Explore this protected Coral Cay, with white sandy beaches and coconut palms, surrounded by magnificent coral gardens and the Coral Sea. Relax on the island, join the guided snorkel tour, take a trip on the glass bottom boat or laze on deck before an exhilarating sail back to Port.

Day 12 - Depart Port Douglas

Say goodbye to Port Douglas as you’re transferred to the airport for your next destination.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 - Welcome to Melbourne

On arrival into Melbourne you will be transferred to your central city accommodation and have the rest of the day at leisure to explore.

Day 2 - Explore Melbourne

Melbourne is a truly international city which it prides itself on its arts, culture, architecture, cafes and bars. Within the city laneways this vibrancy is at play and today, your walking tour will give you an appreciation of what daily life is like for Melbournians. You will also get a number of restaurant, bar and shop recommendations for the rest of your stay.

Day 3 - Phillip Island

Enjoy a day trip to the beautiful Phillip Island. It has a rugged surf coastline with many sheltered beaches and it’s here that you will get to enjoy the sights and sounds that make this part of the world a unique haven for Australian wildlife. Experience Moonlit Sanctuary, Churchill Island, Cape Woolamai and the highlight of course the Penguins at dusk. Amongst all the excitement you’ll get to enjoy a BBQ lunch as well.

Day 4 - Day at Leisure

Today you have free to do what takes your fancy. You could catch the tram to St Kilda for lunch by the sea or indulge in some of the world’s best shopping with many arcades and malls on offer.

Day 5 - Farewell Melbourne

Say goodbye to Melbourne and fly North to Sydney.

Day 6 - Hunter Valley

Escape to the oldest wine growing region in Australia. Just 2 hours north of Sydney, the rich soil in the Hunter Valley produce some of the world’s best wines. Amble your way through serene vineyards and learn about fabulous Australian wines at an intimate cellar door experience.

Day 7 - Sydney at Leisure

Use today to explore at your own pace. Take the train to Bondi to soak up some sun and enjoy Aussie fish’n’chips or take the Hop on Hop off ferry for a cruise around the harbour.

Day 8 - Sydney Opera House

Today you will visit one of the world’s great architectural and cultural treasures. The Sydney Opera House is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and within this most recognisable of Australian landmarks, you will see inside its grand performance halls, theatres and recording studios.

Day 9 - Sydney to North Queensland

Today fly to Cairns, pick up your car hire and make your way to Palm Cove, a tropical paradise in Far North Queensland. Palm trees line its stunning beaches and you can enjoy boutique shopping and great dining in this cosmopolitan village by the sea.

Day 10 - Reef Day

Sailaway will take you out for a day to remember with a reef and island cruise to Low Isles. Explore this protected ww, with white sandy beaches and coconut palms, surrounded by magnificent coral gardens and the Coral Sea. Relax on the island, join the guided snorkel tour, take a trip on the glass bottom boat or laze on deck before an exhilarating sail back to Port.

Day 11 - Explore Palm Cove

Day 12 - Kuranda Day trip

Australia’s extraordinary landscape is on display as you travel by rail above Australia’s World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest. The famous Kuranda Scenic Railway was built over 120 years ago and winds its way through the tropical mountain ranges between Cairns and Kuranda.

Day 13 - Depart Cairns

Transfer to Cairns airport for your next destination or the journey home.

Day 1 - Welcome to Perth

Arrive into Perth where you’ll be transferred to your hotel of choice and can spend the rest of the day getting acquainted with the city.

Day 2 - Perth City Tour

Day 4 - Experience RottnestRottnest – WA’s most beautiful Island is just 19km off Perth’s coastline. You’ll get to cruise from Perth on the Swan River before enjoying a complete tour of Rottnest Island where you’ll be taken to some spectacular locations and vantage points. Visit Rottnest Lodge for a full buffet lunch.

Day 5 - Fly Perth - Melbourne

Say goodbye to the West Coast and fly to Melbourne.

Every twist and turn exposes you to stretches of broad, uninterrupted beaches, dramatic coastlines and the lush rainforests of the Otway Ranges –all of which provides an amazing postcard backdrop for all your memories!

Day 8 - Farewell Melbourne

Depart your hotel on the airport transfer and fly onwards to Sydney to continue your adventures.

Highlights will include the Three Sisters, Featherdale Wildlife Park and a river cruise on the Parramatta River back to Sydney Harbour Circular Quay.

Day 12 - Fly to Cairns

Say goodbye to the big city and head to the tropical north. Departure and arrival transfers will ensure you get to and from the airport.

Day 13 - Cape Tribulation

Today travel to Cape Tribulation, through some of the oldest rainforest in the world. Included is an hour Daintree River Cruise to spot local wildlife, Alexandra lookout, delicious tropical lunch set amongst the rainforest, and a walk on famous Cape Tribulation Beach. AlsoThere are enjoy a driver/guided tour with an Indigenous presentation & afternoon tea at the Mossman Gorge Centre to learn about the local Kuku Yalanji people before returning home.

Day 14 - Enjoy Free Time

Today enjoy Port Douglas at your leisure, with plenty of great restaurants and bars you can indulge or you could choose to venture out to the Daintree National Park.
