The Stunning Adriatic Sunshine Coast Featuring Dubrovnik, Portorose and Opatija

ITINERARY

WEDNESDAY

We depart early on our adventure – Crossing to France and onwards to Germany to our overnight Hotel in Limburg – B&B Basis.

THURSDAY

After a Buffet Breakfast we travel to Austria to the stunning Tyrolean City of Innsbruck and the Alphotel – Dinner included.

FRIDAY

Breakfast and then an 8am start as we make our way over the Brenner Pass into Italy, travelling to Slovenia and the first Adriatic Sea Resort of Portorose. Here we stay for 3 Nights at one of the quality 4 star Lifeclass Hotels with Dinner and Breakfast included each day.

SATURDAY

A Morning to explore this fashionable Spa and Holiday destination and after Lunch we take you to the picturesque nearby sea port of Piran, well known for its beautiful Venetian architecture.

SUNDAY

Today we include a fun Boat trip to the authentic Fishing Town of Izola, with its quaint narrow streets and rich history. A former island on the edge of the Adriatic Sea and Istrian Peninsula.

MONDAY

An early start as we travel southwards into Croatia to the Jewel of the Adriatic Sea – Dubrovnik. Here we arrive on the outskirts of the City to the Valamar Hotel & Resort Group situated near the Beach and around 15 minutes from the Old Town. We stay for 5 Nights with Dinner and Breakfast included.

TUESDAY - FRIDAY

On Tuesday, take a leisurely Breakfast and then we take you to the Old Walled City of Dubrovnik. A remarkable and Historic World Heritage Site attracting visitors from all over the World.

Walk the Walls, view the magnificent Buildings, and stroll through the narrow Streets, elegant Shops, wonderful Cafés and Restaurants. There are Boat Trips and many marvellous attractions. A remarkable visit and day. Enjoy a couple of free days in the Valamar Resort or explore the area of this amazing Adriatic Coastline.

We also include a day excursion to neighbouring Montenegro and the Ancient 12th Century Town of Kotor. This is a popular Holiday destination situated in a beautiful bay attracting many cruise lines.

SATURDAY

A prompt departure this morning as we travel northwards to the elegant ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ – Opatija. Here we arrive at the outstanding Grand Adriatic Hotel where we include Breakfast and Dinner throughout our 4 night stay.

SUNDAY

A day free to explore this glorious Resort and the excellent Hotel Facilities. We include a Walking Tour with a local Guide.

MONDAY

Today we include an excursion to the Holiday Resort of Poreč and the Historic Old Town of Rovinj – One of the most photographed Towns on Croatia’s Adriatic Coast.

TUESDAY

Our last day in Opatija and an optional Boat trip around the local Adriatic islands to conclude our visit to Croatia in fine style.

WEDNESDAY

Departing after Breakfast we travel towards Salzburg calling at Lake Bled. We then continue to Bavaria and our overnight Hotel – Dinner included.

THURSDAY

Leaving the lovely Bavarian Alps we travel to the famous Rhine Valley Town of Rüdesheim where we arrive at the Hotel Felsenkeller for our final evening – Dinner once again included.

FRIDAY

An early Breakfast and we journey back to France to join our afternoon crossing back to the UK.
