ITINERARY

Rhine in Flame

SUNDAY

Morning departure to join our crossing to France and then onwards to the beautiful Belgium City of Leuven. Here we arrive at the Novotel Hotel – Dinner is included.

MONDAY

A Buffet Breakfast before we travel into Germany and the Rhine Valley. Here we arrive at Rüdesheim where we stay for five nights and the perfectly situated Hotel Felsenkeller.

TUESDAY - FRIDAY

Your holiday Hotel provides a 3-Course Dinner and Buffet Breakfast each day. There are plenty of attractions in and around Rüdesheim.

You can visit one of the many Castles or check out the Parks, the Outdoor Swimming Pool and the 1,000 year old Wine Museum. Take a stroll through narrow streets or vineyard paths and enjoy the atmosphere and daily entertainment of the Drosselgasse.

We include a full day to the lovely City of Koblenz, where the mighty Rivers of the Rhine and Moselle meet. Our journey will include a Rhine tour.

We have an Optional Day to Include the Highlights of the area. We will also offer an optional Boat Cruise to Bacharach and a Tour along the Moselle Valley to Cochem.

SATURDAY

A Relaxed Breakfast and then its time to say Auf Wiedersehen to Rüdesheim as we depart to the Magical City of Paris.

We arrive in the French Capital and include a short Tour before our included early Dinner at a traditional Latin Quarter Bistro.

We include Wine, a Choice Menu and some typical French Music before we travel to our overnight Hotel near Charles de Gaulle Airport.

SUNDAY

A French Buffet Breakfast and a morning departure to Calais to join our Lunch time crossing back to the UK.

A splendid end to a superb Tour to the Romantic Rhine Valley.

HOTEL FELSENKELLER

Situated in the Pedestrian Zone, yards from the Drosselgasse and backing onto the vineyards, the Hotel Felsenkeller is a regular holiday choice and has been a firm favourite of ours for over 40 years.

All Bedrooms have Private Facilities, Shower, TV and Telephone.

There is a small Lounge, Sun Terrace, Restaurant and 24-Hour Reception. There are steps before the small passenger Lift.

A superb family-run Hotel!

MONDAY

After our Buffet Breakfast its time to leave the Rhine Valley as we travel to Holland to join our super overnight Cruise Ferry to include air-conditioned Cabin Accommodation, an excellent Buffet Dinner, Entertainment and full English Breakfast –

MONDAY

Morning departure to join our crossing to France and then onwards to the beautiful City of Bruges.

Here we arrive at the centrally situated Novotel Hotel. Time to take advantage of the excellent Restaurants.

TUESDAY

A Buffet Breakfast before we travel into Germany and the Rhine Valley. Here we arrive at Rüdesheim where we stay for six nights and the perfectly situated Hotel Felsenkeller.

WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY

Your holiday Hotel provides a 3-Course Dinner and Buffet Breakfast each day.

We include a full day to the lovely City of Koblenz. Our journey will include a Rhine tour viewing the many Castles and attractive villages on our way to the ‘German Corner’.

We have an Optional Day to Include the Highlights of the area. This includes a land Train tour of the Vineyards, a Wine Tasting, a Cable Car and Chair Lift taking in the German National Monument, a light Lunch and finally a short Boat trip along the Rhine!

We will also offer an optional Boat Cruise to the lovely village of Bacharach and a Tour along the picturesque Moselle Valley to Cochem, one of the most popular towns in this famous wine district.

Our June Date has the advantage of viewing the spectacular Rhine in Flame in the Bingen Loch with fantastic views from the Niederwald Monument. We include the Cable Car Ride for this brilliant Firework display.

The September ‘Rhine in Flame’ takes place at St Goar. Late afternoon a wonderful Boat Cruise to take in all the dazzling array of lights, sounds and unbelievable atmosphere for both sides of the River Rhine and its Historic Illuminated Castles!

On board, Dinner is included together with Music and majestic sights on our return journey with a late arrival back in Rüdesheim. On Sunday we including a Light Lunch at the Hotel
