Canterbury, Call the Midwife Tour, Afternoon Tea and Leeds Castle Everyone loves a Mystery, so what better way to spend an exciting Weekend

ITINERARY ITINERARY

FRIDAY

Lunch time departure travelling to the Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa. Time to settle into your comfortable bedrooms and then Dinner and a relaxing evening.

SATURDAY

After a full English Cooked Breakfast we depart to the important City of Canterbury. Here you can explore the famous Cathedral, the excellent High Street Shops and the International Visitor Attractions.

There will be time for a Morning Coffee before we travel to the Historic Dockyard at Chatham – One of the most complete Dockyards still surviving and flourishing today. Now it is a superb visitor attraction with many aspects to explore and view. It is here that many Film and Television Productions have used the original settings including - Call the Midwife, Mr Selfridge and Bridgerton.

This afternoon we will be joined by our local guides who will show you the areas used for the filming of this remarkable series. We will also include a delicious full Afternoon Tea.

We return to the Hotel where Dinner is included again this evening.

SUNDAY

A hot traditional Breakfast and then we travel to Leeds Castle - ‘The loveliest Castle in the World’. Originally built by the Normans nearly 1000 years ago, it has been a Royal Residence, a Palace to Henry VIII and the Manor of the Saxon Royal Family.

Today it has been lovingly restored and is indeed an integral part of English history. We depart early afternoon and return to the West Midlands.

BRIDGEWOOD MANOR HOTEL & SPA

Situated near Chatham, this popular Hotel offers 100 Bedrooms all with Private Facilities. There is a fine Restaurant, Lounge and Bar, Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre, Passenger Lifts, Inner Courtyard, 24 Hour Reception and free Wi-Fi.

SATURDAY

Morning departure to your unknown destination.

It will be an interesting place or resort giving you a chance to visit the local attractions and tourist sights.

We of course will select towns which have a choice of Restaurants, Cafés and quality Shops.

However, you will still not know what Hotel you will be staying in until you arrive to check in.

Then we will include Dinner and a relaxing evening.

SUNDAY

A full English traditional Breakfast to be taken at leisure starts our Sunday.

We then depart to another interesting mystery destination before returning to the West Midlands.

HOTEL

Your Hotel will normally be a Hilton, Marriott or Holiday Inn but it is possible other high quality Hotels may be used.

Most have a Leisure Centre, well stocked Bar, Restaurant and Lounge area.

All Bedrooms of course have Private Facilities and Hospitality Tray.
