A New Lake District Tour and a Lovely Hotel

ITINERARY

SUNDAY

Morning departure making a short stop at the popular Seaside Resort of Morecombe.

We then continue to Cumbria and the attractive coastal retreat of Grange-over-Sands where we arrive at the lovely Grange Hotel. Time to enjoy a 4 night stay with Dinner and full English Breakfast included each day.

MONDAY

Breakfast at leisure before we include a fascinating day in the Lake District.

We make a short stop at the picturesque Town of Windermere and then we take you to the Lake of the same name – The largest natural Lake in England.

Here we arrive at Bowness on Windermere with its many visitor attractions, Shops and Restaurants. There will be time for Lunch before we join a Lake Cruise to Ambleside where our Coach will be waiting to return to our Hotel.

TUESDAY

A free day to explore the Hotel and the town. Take advantage of the Leisure Facilities in the Hotel and the Grounds. Stroll along the promenade, explore the unique Tea Rooms and Shops, or wander into the Ornamental Gardens.

You could also visit Holker Hall or take the Train or Bus to other parts of the Lake District.

WEDNESDAY

After your Cumbrian Breakfast, we will arrange an optional excursion to one of the many outstanding villages or towns.

There could be a possible Steam Train Journey, a visit to one of the many other Lakes, Museums, Historical Houses or other amazing attractions.

Our final Dinner with a wonderful setting with nearby views of Morecombe Bay.

THURSDAY

Another freshly cooked Breakfast Buffet before we say Farewell to this exquisite Hotel and stunning part of England for our return to the West Midlands.

The Grange Hotel has a perfect position opposite the Sea Front, Railway Station and Ornamental Gardens.
