Enjoy a superb Tour to The Palace in Devon Discover the Highlights of Cardiff – The Capital of Wales

ITINERARY

MONDAY

Morning departure southbound into glorious Devon.

We make our way to Paignton and The Palace Hotel.

Here we stay for 4 Nights with sumptuous Dinners and a full English Breakfast each day.

TUESDAY

Situated on the Esplanade opposite the sea, The Palace provides quality facilities including a Leisure Centre with an Indoor Swimming Pool, Lounge, well stocked Bars and friendly staff.

There is normally light entertainment in the Hotel and all bedrooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable.

Paignton’s attractions, Harbour, Town Centre and Zoo are all within easy reach. We also include an excursion to Dawlish and Teignmouth.

WEDNESDAY

A traditional English Breakfast and a day to enjoy Paignton.

Alternatively we offer an optional Devon Excursion to the Market Town of Totnes, Historic Buckfast Abbey and the majestic Sea Front of Plymouth. We return in time for dinner.

THURSDAY

Today we offer an optional Excursion to the Capital of Devon – Exeter and a visit to neighbouring Torquay.

FRIDAY

Another fresh Devon Breakfast and then it is time to leave the English Riviera and return to the West Midlands.

PALACE HOTEL

The Palace is one of the finest Hotels in Paignton. All 55 Bedrooms have full Private Facilities, Tea & Coffee Tray, TV and Hairdryer.

There is a Lounge, Coffee Shop, Bar, Restaurant and Leisure Centre. A Passenger Lift serves most floors and there is a 24 Hour Reception.

ITINERARY

SUNDAY

Morning departure travelling into Wales along the attractive Wye Valley, we call at Chepstow – A historic Market Town dominated by its Norman Castle. We then continue to the Welsh Capital – Cardiff, where we arrive at the perfectly situated Hilton Hotel. Here we include full Buffet Breakfast for our stay of 4 Nights.

MONDAY

Breakfast is served at Leisure in the Restaurant. We are then joined by our Local Guide for a fascinating Tour of this Vibrant City taking in Cardiff Bay and even Penarth. The afternoon is then free to explore all the exciting places you have been shown this Morning.

TUESDAY

After Breakfast, today we take you to the Royal Mint. This is the World’s leading Coin Maker for both the UK and other Countries and we include a most interesting Tour. We then call in at Cardiff Bay with a little free time or even catch a boat back to the City Centre.

WEDNESDAY

An enjoyable Breakfast and then a short walk across the Road to the Magnificent Castle where we include Admission.

There is so much history to see here. In fact, the fairy-tale Tower goes back around 2000 years! There are lovely Grounds, beautiful Halls and apartments. Free time for Shopping this Afternoon or join our optional visit and Tour of the Principality Stadium on Cardiff Arms Park.

THURSDAY

A Traditional Breakfast and then we commence our return journey making a short stop at Tewkesbury, before we continue back to the West Midlands.

HILTON CARDIFF

The Cardiff Hilton Hotel is situated in the very heart of the City opposite the Historic Castle. There are almost 200 well-appointed Bedrooms, Lounge Bar, Restaurant, Coffee Shop and Leisure Centre. There are Two Passenger Lifts and 24 Hour Reception Services.

There is a huge choice of Restaurants catering for all tastes all within easy walking distance of the Hilton.
