ITINERARY

MONDAY

Morning departure making a lunch stop in the lovely village of Woodstock and then we continue on to show you ‘Downton Village’ where you can see the Church and Hospital used in the series. We then continue to our Doubletree Hotel near Southampton where we enjoy 4 Nights with Dinner and Breakfast each day.

TUESDAY

A full Buffet Breakfast is taken at leisure before our departure to the lovely Seaside Resort of Bournemouth. This popular destination has so much to offer with coastal attractions, excellent shops and a brilliant choice of cafes and restaurants. We return for Dinner at our Hotel.

WEDNESDAY

After Breakfast today, we travel to Historic Portsmouth where we’ll be joined by our expert Local Guide for a Fascinating Tour of Southsea and the Island City. The afternoon is then free to explore the many places to see and visit including Gunwharf Quays, The Spinnaker Tower, the Ships and Museums of the dockyard, ‘Old Portsmouth’ and so much more!

THURSDAY

English Breakfast and then the highlight of our Tour – a visit to Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) with admission to the House and Gardens – A wonderful experience in a setting known throughout the world! We’ll depart in the afternoon to make an interesting visit to the Cathedral City of Winchester before returning for our final evening at The Doubletree Hotel where you can dine with new friends.

FRIDAY

A relaxing Breakfast. We then depart for our return journey to the West Midlands and home!

Here you will be made welcome before making your way to the comfortable bedrooms.

Settle in and enjoy Dinner this evening.

TUESDAY – THURSDAY

A freshly cooked English Breakfast is included each morning and a sumptuous 5 Course Dinner each evening.

From The Queens Hotel you have easy access to the Resort Centre, Shops, Cafes, Promenade and Attractions.

We include a Tour along the Riviera taking in Seaton, Sidmouth and the nearby Holiday Town of Torquay - Stroll out and enjoy that splendid fresh sea air.

We will also offer an optional tour to Totnes and the famous city of Plymouth.

FRIDAY

Breakfast and then our departure back to the West Midlands.

Situated just yards from the Sea Front and Town Centre of Paignton, The Queens Hotel offers friendly Service, fine Food and comfortable Accommodation.
