Welcome to the 2nd Annual Southern Hemp Expo
The hemp industry has come a long way since last fall, when the Nashville community embraced us for the first Southern Hemp Expo. Now, with the historic passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, which made hemp legal again for the first time in over 80 years to be grown and sold in the U.S., the hemp industry faces incredible opportunities, and a few formidable challenges, as well.
The timing, therefore, couldn’t be better for the 2nd Annual Southern Hemp Expo, the most important gathering in the Eastern U.S. of the hemp industry’s top business leaders, professionals, farmers, manufacturers, advocates and others striving to succeed, build value and chart a course for the future in an exploding and often unpredictable marketplace.
Thank you for sharing your time with us as we come together for an exciting weekend of the Let’s Talk Hemp education series, Business Conference, Farm Symposium, Education Stage, and trade show exhibition.
Over the past few years, we have seen tremendous growth and advancement of this nascent industry through innovation, technology, science and a significant amount of grass roots activism. Not without growing pains, we continue to forge ahead with determination and fortitude to achieve something greater than ourselves that will benefit the planet and the future of our species.
Bringing balance back to Mother Earth represents the collective good we as humans bring together in the name of hemp. We appreciate what each one of you have done to advance the cannabis industry and this amazing plant, a gift to humanity from nature.
Now #LetsTalkHemp!!!
Sincerely,
