Get to Know the Agent Rohan Semmler

Homburg Real Estate, Tanunda and Nuriootpa has announced an exciting addition to their sales team, a Barossa identity, Rohan Semmler. Many will know Rohan from his days at Office National, (another well established and highly regarded family owned business), where he spent ten years dealing in all facets of the business and finally focusing on the communication side, running the Telstra Shop, until he and wife, Kristee decided to move to Cairns for five years. Rohan continued in the communications field in Far North Queensland, successfully running the multi-award winning Telstra shop in Cairns, whilst also picking up a number of personal awards during his tenure. The birth of their son, Tom and missing family and friends proved powerful forces in attracting them back to the Barossa, where they have been for the last three years.


Kristee re-engaged in her family’s business, Barossa Nursery, and Rohan took on another manager role with Telstra, once again adding to his skill base and awards’ cabinet, taking out the highly acclaimed title of Manager of the Year for SA/NT/WA. Rohan’s motivation to acquire knowledge and to continue to grow both personally as well as professionally along with his passion for the Barossa, its residents, local businesses and ultimately the lifestyle, are all important factors that lead him to this new and exciting chapter. “Having had the opportunity to live away from the Valley as well as having travelled both domestically and internationally quite extensively, I feel I am well placed to “know” that the Barossa is where I want to call home. “There are so many positives to our little part of the world which I don’t take for granted, and I really want to add to the experience for existing residents as well as new people looking to call the Barossa home,” said Rohan.
