WHO:

Homeboy Industries is the largest gang intervention, rehab, and reentry program in the United States, serving more than 10,000 men and women each year. For more than 25 years, Homeboy Industries has helped formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women re-identify who they are and redirect their lives to become contributing members of the community. With an array of free programs and services like tattoo removal, academic and life skills classes, substance abuse and other support groups, job training, work readiness and employment placement services, Homeboy Industries is the single place that engages the imagination of this marginalized population. When you support the Every Angeleno Counts 5K and Festival, you help to underwrite these vital programs and create healthier families and a safer Los Angeles. WHAT:

The Festival includes a 5K Run, art exhibition and sale featuring 50+ renowned and emerging artists in a variety of media, performances by eclectic musical artists, plus activities for kids, a social justice village, vendor village and the first ever Homegirl CafĂŠ Bruno Street Brunch (imagine tacos and chilaquiles with 1,000 of your closest friends).

WHEN:

Saturday, October 24, 2015 6am registration | 8am race | Festival until noon

WHERE:

Homeboy Headquarters: 130 W. Bruno Street, Los Angeles, 90012. The route takes participants up to Broadway in Chinatown then through Elysian Park continuing down into Lincoln Heights then to Spring Street and back to Homeboy for the Every Angeleno Counts Festival.
