Making His Membership Work

When Livewire Electrical Contracting became an HBA member in 2013, owner Steve Stachowski initially joined thinking it would be a good networking opportunity. He now believes his membership and involvement in the Association have connected him with more groups of people than he had previously considered. He realizes that the relationships built and the doors opened wouldn’t have been possible without his involvement in the HBA.

“Don’t just pay your annual membership investment and forget about what comes along with it,” Stachowski advises. “Make your membership work for you, which will likely look different for one member as compared to another. Network with other members whenever you can and get involved. You never know where things will go!”
