Home for

Christmas We can’t wait for work to end and the holidays to begin. There’s anticipation as we search high and low for that perfect gift for a relative who has everything.

We anticipate gathering with friends and family just for the simple pleasure of being enriched by each other’s company. Children anxiously await Christmas morning to unwrap all those wishes that required them to be extra-good all year long. We all anticipate the pure joy of a quiet, peaceful season and we hope that the qualities of this season can be carried over to the next and the next and the next. Now, the home is glimmering with Christmas lights. The tree shines brightly in the front window. The family has gathered. Laughter and ageless family tales of times gone by are told yet again. Soon the anticipation of the Christmas feast will be rewarded. It’s always good to be home for Christmas.

●Sufficient lighting – Throughout the room, especially in the bathroom, provide ample lighting to get ready by and more ambient lighting to read by at nighttime. A full-length mirror is also a particularly thoughtful detail. ●Nice linens – Supply pretty bath towels that are reserved for guests only. Bathrobes are also a nice touch, so that visitors don’t have to get dressed first thing in the morning before they have their coffee and breakfast. ●Space for clothing/luggage – Free up some drawer and closet space, or have an empty dresser or bureau. That way guests can unpack instead of digging through his or her suitcase. Be sure to have hangers free in the closet, too. If there’s not enough room for a dresser, or the closet in the room is packed full, luggage
