Together with his wife, Kelly, an elementary school teacher, they raised their now grown children, Haley and Miles, in Orinda, where all four of them graduated from Miramonte High School before pursuing their higher education degrees from California Universities. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Dex’s passions include skiing, boating, sailing and hiking. The oldest of eight children, he is also an Eagle Scout and former U. S. Naval Officer, who last served as a ship’s Navigator.
