Artists on the Coast - Frank Hoggard

By the ripe old age of 16, Frank had won his fi rst national painting competition and his work was exhibited at the prestigious ‘Olympia Exhibition Hall in London. Upon completing his schooling, Frank pursued a career as a commercial artist working fi rst in the art department of a national retailer before beginning his own design business which he ran successfully for over 35 years. After immigrating to Canada along with his family in 1993, Frank was soon accepted into the ‘Federation of Canadian Artists. He eventually landed here on the Sunshine Coast where he continues to exhibit and sell his original paintings as well as accepting commissions for custom pieces.

Frank will be participating in this year’s Sunshine Coast Art Crawl in October. His works will be on display at the Marina Place Club House on Dougal Road in lower Gibson. Watch for road signs in the area for directions. You can also view and purchase his work on Instagram @ Frank_Hoggard_Artist.
