Contemporary Edge

For this Double Take, Design and Event Editor Evelyn Eshun created two condo looks using the same sofa.

This look has a traditional feel with a contemporary edge, perfect for established homeowners looking to downsize into a condo. Evelyn created a luxurious space with contemporary pieces that add sparkle, color and a touch of wood for extra warmth.

Glamorous

In this Double Take, Design and Event Editor Evelyn Eshun showed us how a classic bed can be used to create two different looks.

Combining classic pieces with luxurious finishes and textures like brass, mother-of-pearl and sheepskin give this space a timeless romantic feel. A nightstand on legs opens up the room to give the illusion of more space while whimsical accessories add personality.

Colorful Spaces

1. For this look, I embraced the bolder side of a leather sofa. I started with photographic artwork of a lion; a symbol of strength and stability.

2. This look plays off the floral wallpaper and green sofa to create a garden-inspired space.

3. The rug, used as artwork in this space, creates a bold and dramatic sophisticated look that pairs well with structural accessories and a few pops of color.

4. A curvy merlot sofa is treated like a neutral and paired with pieces in various saturations of the same color to create a monochromatic look.
