Design District Hong Kong (#ddHK) is a curated open-air district gallery coupled with festivals. It enhances the visitor experience through a series of creative
design and street events that highlight the city’s unique stories and district characteristics.
With a number of long-standing comic-book characters from the 1960s and pop culture, “#ddMotion – Walala Playspace” connects UK and local communities and brings a new experience of public space, while “#ddSpecial – Hop-on Hop-
off” and “#ddCityMania” provide a special explorative journey with two Ani-com trams and tram stops in the city.

Hong Kong Open (Golf Tournament) (9 to 12 January 2020)
First held in 1959, the Hong Kong Open is the city’s oldest professional
sporting event and is considered one of the jewels in the crown of Asian golf. One of the must-attend events in Hong Kong, it has a rich history of prominent past winners including major champions.
In addition to the golfing talent on display at the tournament, the organisers have lots of fun family activities planned off-course. Face painting, magicians, bouncy castles and arts and crafts will keep the kids entertained while the adults can experience great food and drinks, interactive activities and complimentary golf lessons.

Company Wayne McGregor – Autobiography (10–12 January 2020)
British choreographer and director Wayne McGregor has created dance works that interrogate life through the experience of the body via science
and technology. In the Asian Premiere of Autobiography, 10 dancers perform to a genre-defying soundscape by electronic musician Jlin.
Inspired by the sequencing of his own genome and the 23 pairs of chromosomes that contain the human DNA, Autobiography is a mesmerising reflection on the fractured, multi-layered nature of our lives
and personal stories.

Hong Kong Streetathon 2020 12 January 2020

KidsFest! 2020 15 January to 23 February 2020

Hong Kong 100 Ultra Trail Race 17–19 January 2020
Hong Kong 100 is an ultra endurance race and part of the prestigious UltraTrailÂŽ World Tour (UTWT). The race was first held in 2011 and has quickly become one of the most popular events in the global trail running calendar. The 56 km and 103 km courses are based around Hong Kong's famous
MacLehose Trail and cover some of the most beautiful countryside scenery in Hong Kong, with panoramic views of the busy city, making for a unique way to experience Hong Kong. The race has been elevated to the Series level in the UTWT, making it the only Series event in Asia.
