1.3 Analysis The overlapping voronoi iterations were analysed to determine the distribution of the partitioned plane and its spatial qualities in terms of size, connectivity and relativity to one another. Iteration 13 was extracted- it has a dynamic relationship between the overlapping Voronoi and relatively large partitioned areas. Iteration 14 was also extracted- for its extensive connection between the two Voronoi.

2.0 Initial sketches The initial sketches explores the conceptual layouts of the figure elements in relation to the Australian Standaerds and BCA. I used the minimum standards for floor areas of spaces like bedroom and bathroom. This drived my ambition to create a minimal and compact living space that still feel spacious and comfortable, while also encouraging the occupants to explore the communal spaces and develop an intimate relationship with the space, circulation paths and people through active exploration.

The composition of the figure elements distinguishes the semi-private building with a skillion roof and the public buildings with a flatter roof. While, the cylindrical form is maintained to formulate an active dialogue between the buildings. Three buildings, located near the entrance of the estate, ensures the privacy of the internal communal spaces. The large double glazed window panes and light concrete slabs on the ground floor creates a semi-permeable threshold. The distribution of the three levels is blurred and connected through the central spiral passage. The spiral route is enclosed by a glass shell that provides enclosure and protection while revealing a succession of various functional areas and changing views of the surrounding context. The large glass panels throughout the private bedrooms as well as the communal spaces diluted the vision boundaries between the interior and the landscape The upper floor is elevated to be a very private space that allows for passive surveillance of the communal areas. The skillion roof opens up the interior volume of the space, allows for light to flood in and draws the eye out towards the landscape. Additionally, it creates a threshold between the bedroom and the bathroom. The sweeping curves of the elevated pathway reflected the meandering water feature on the ground floor
