The Internet is a flood of eager Affiliate or Internet Marketers these days as a lot of people want or need to make money, and are trying their luck with this trade. Personally, I am one of these people successfully riding that wave, I have been for a year now, and starting out as an Internet marketer you encounter a lot of hurdles. One of those hurdles, and I suppose this not only relates to newbies but also to experienced Marketers, is signing up to "gurus" or "Top Marketers" email lists. This my friend, is the biggest distraction any person new to the world of Internet Marketing will encounter, especially if you are doing a training course or working on a campaign. But What Is Wrong With Signing Up To Email Lists? In Theory, nothing much. There are of course great benefits like, excellent information and tips, free gifts, inside information, and the latest news in The Marketing World. But, in reality, your email box slowly begins to fill. You spend a lot of time reading these mails, watching the latest video, fooling about with your latest gift or signing up to one of "Their Friends" mailing lists, so your subscriptions grow and so does you email box, hence you start to fall behind with your own online career.
Trust me, I know, mainly because I have been there and guilty as charged. You will loose concentration and focus, fall behind on your own training and campaigns leading to you learning nothing, not earning any money, and quite possibly buying a product you DO NOT NEED! How To Take Action-3 Solid Steps! 1.Is Of course the obvious, go down to the bottom of the page and unsubscribe to all your email list, take action, be ruthless. Unless you are getting great value from the emails, then by all means keep them, but if not, dump them, if you have no value from the mail now, then what are the chances of value in the future. 2. And this is what I normally do, Choose. Yes if you want to keep a couple, choose the most valuable. I tend to keep the people I trust (and there isn't that many) and people who aren't always trying to sell me products, plain good people and Marketers. 3. This relates to point number 2. If you are planning to stay subscribed to email lists, create a separate folder, and each morning spend five minutes placing your mails in to the folder, and set out a certain day or hour where you get to catch up and read mails etc. Wasting your time reading mails first thing in the morning is seriously not good for any new or experienced Marketer. It interferes with you productivity, taking valuable time out of your day, and for newbies trying to get a start in this business, slows you down and leads you of the track. You need to take action period. Unsubscribe from useless invaluable emails and get your online career on track. It's the people who get up in the morning and proceed with their daily tasks and goals who succeed in this game, be one of them and
