This book is about the childhood and years of a young girl from a Ukrainian family who couldn’t find peace in her house and tries to find it in the streets, often in the company of the homeless, and finally ends up in the informal company of artists, musicians, poets, and hippies.
All her life she travels from country to country looking for true love and elusive happiness.
