Class 205 – M&S Children’s Pony Medal / NJPHA Pony Equitation Entry Fee: $40 Open to Junior Riders on ponies that are not competing at the same show in any hunter or equitation class in which the fences exceed 3'3”. To be run is accordance with HJPHA and NJHSA rules. No cross entry of rider into the M&S Children's Horse Medal at the same show. Fences 2’ for Sm/Med ponies. Fences 2’6” for Large ponies. Class 206 – M&S Children’s Horse Medal /NJPHA Mini Medal Entry Fee: $40 Open to Junior Riders on horses that are not competing at the same show in any hunter or equitation class in which the fences exceed 3'3”. To be run in accordance with NJPHA and M&S rules. No cross entry of rider into the M&S Children's Pony Medal at the same show. Class 207–NJPHA / NJHSA Children’s Equitation O/F 3’ Open to junior riders who have not won six (6) blue ribbons at a recognized show as of December 1st of the current show year. Riders may not have won any equitation class at 3’6” or higher prior toDecember 1st of the current show year. To be shown over at least eight (8) fences about 3’ in height with at least one change of direction & at least one combination. Class 208 – M&S Farnam Adult Medal/NJPHA Adult Medal Entry Fee: $40 Open to Adult Amateur Riders. To be shown over minimum of 8 fences at 3' including a combination and at least two changes of direction after the first fence. Two or more tests of the top four competitors are required. The same horse must be used in all phases. Only one rider per horse. Three riders must complete the course in order for points to count. The rider must be a member in order for points to count toward qualifying for the Finals.

HUNTER DERBY CLASSES Horse must have entered in at least 2 hunter classes at this show to be eligible to compete in a Hunter Derby Class. Derby options simulating riding over hunt country will be included. A number of horses at the judge’s discretion will return for a 2nd round to be judged as a Handy Class. RULES AND REGULATIONS: 1. ENTRIES CLOSE October 2, 2012. 2. FAXED ENTRIES to 908-479-6158 or Mail to: The Ridge Farm, 3 Wolverton Rd, Asbury, NJ 08802 3. Post entries will be accepted at $50 per horse. Entries made the day of the show by totally new accounts, will be accepted at an additional fee of $50 per horse. 4. Temporary stabling is available at $200 per stall. No initial bedding provided. No wiring of any kind allowed in the stabling areas. Closing date to reserve stalls is October 2, 2012. A charge of $250 per stall for stalls reserved after the closing date if available. 5. The right is reserved to cancel, combine or divide any classes if entries so warrant. In addition, the right is reserved to refuse any entry before the start of the competition without being liable for compensation. 6. Prize money will be applied to the exhibitor ’s outstanding account if any, or mailed to the exhibitor as listed on the entry blank, as long as proper tax ID information is provided, within 30 days of the close of the show. Checks void after 60 days. The Horse Show will not stop payment or duplicate awards for any lost check. 7. Ties other than first place will remain ties. 8. Classes with up tp $3,000 in prize money need 12 entries to fill. Classes with $5,000 or more in prize money need 18 entries to fill. Alternatively these classes may run as Sweepstake Classes with 100% of entry fees paid back as follows : 30%, 20%, 15% 10%, 10%, 10%, 5%. 9. Refunds: No refunds on stalls after the closing date. If a horse becomes injured or ill prior to being shown in any class, entry fees will be refunded upon receipt of a Veterinarian ’s certificate. An office processing fee of $50 per legitimately excused animal will be deducted from the refund. All certificates, to be considered, must be received by show management before the closing of the show. 10. Course diagrams will be posted at least one hour prior to each class. 11. Protective headgear is required at all times when mounted on the show grounds. It must meet or exceed ASTM standards for equestrian use, carry the SEI tag, and be properly fitted with harness secured. 12. Riders must be properly attired for all classes. Formal attire for Classics and Grand Prix. 13. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have CURRENT MEMBERSHIPS and measurement cards for any and all classes, which require the same. 14. Numbers will not be issued until a signed, open check is lodged with the horse show secretary and all Membership cards have been seen & verified. 15. Horses shown in a class without being entered will pay double the class entry fee. 16. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. 17. $100 charge for non-competing horses 18. An office fee of $25 will be charged. An EMT fee of $25 will be charged. 19. A fee of $250 will be charged to exhibitor ’s account for any returned check. 20. Should any question or dispute arise not provided for in these rules, the same shall be referred to show management whose decision shall be final. 21. Minors who do not have a valid driver ’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver ’s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition. 22. Sharps containers will be available in the office.

STABLING – Stalls will be available for a $200 fee per week. Stall fees due October 2, 2012 $200 per stall by nd nd October 2 , after October 2 stalls will be $250 if available. Please cont act the Stable Manger to secure stalls. Stalls will only be held upon receipt of a check or credit card for payment.
