HOPA Online Auction goes dressage... After some different successful online auctions of showjumpers, HOPA is ready to enter the dressage world. We start with an unique selection of dressage foals. HOPA was represented on all the different foal championships. We contacted the owners of the most promising foals and most of them were immediately prepared to participate at this online auction of HOPA thanks to the wellknown successes in online auctions of showjumpers. What makes this selection so unique? First of all: HOPA doesn’t want to ‘just’ organize a foal auction. On the different
auctions, online and offline, you find more quantity than of quality. HOPA just wants to go for quality. And that’s the reason why we ‘only’ have 7 foals in this auction. As you know, top quality is very hard to find. And this kind of ‘top quality’ is the most important condition for HOPA! HOPA Online Auction has used a unique way of filming the foals. We used a camera on a track… This is never seen before in dressage foal auctions, but this was the best way to bring the dressage foals as good as possible on your (computer) screen. We can slow down the images up to eight times with the high-speed camera, allowing you to see the

All these foals received the HOPA QUALITY CONTROL (= HQC) label. A foal that received the HQC label has been seen by professionals (trainers, professional riders and breeders) and approved by them. Only a foal with HQC label can be sold via a HOPA auction. An independent team assisted during the tests and emitted a rating from ‘good’ to ‘very good’ to the horses with HQC label.

Extra information Paso Doble EG This foal got already very promising results in the ‘Open Foal Championship’ in July, 2015 (at that moment he was only 1 month old!) and received a Premium Foal Award for BWP. Paso Doble EG was selected for the BWP Elite Foal Show. Three international judges have given the following points: Type: 9.0 9.5 9.0 Movement: 8.5 9.0 8.5 General impression: 8.5 8.5 8.5 The half sister to the grandmother of Sonneblumen (the mother of Paso Doble EG) became a light tour PSG/ Inter 1 horse.
This damline has also given two approved stallions: ‘Don Renzo’ and ‘Mac Donovan’. ‘Corolian’ (= grandfather of ‘Sonneblumen’) formed, together with his son ‘Coriander’, the base of the successes to a lot of international dressage horses. Galm, the full brother to the great grandmother of Paso Doble EG, participated two times at the Olympic Games under the name ‘Renzo’. A daughter to the half sister of ‘Sonneblumen’, ‘Indira Viana’ (Blue Hors Zack x Don Romatic x Coriolan) was the most expensive filly auctioned in 2013. She was sold for an amount of 37.000 EUR on the auction of Broluco.
D’Accord v/h Aegroschot
This colt received a Premium Foal Award for Oldenburg. The mare shown on the video and photos is a surrogate mother. ‘D’Accord v/h Aegroschot’ was born out of a very promising damline!
The mother of this colt, ‘Just A Little Bit Krack v/h Klaverhof’is an actual top dressage horse. She made some top results on a very young age. As foal, she became 3rd on the Foal Championship of Antwerp. As yearling and as two year old mare, she became Belgian National Champion Exterior. In 2012, at the age of three years old, she became ‘Staatspremie’ Mare at Vechta and she received a selection for Rastede (only the 50 best mares on international level could participate here). In the same
year she was laureate at the Corsendonck Dressage Cup. Here she earned the highest score for rideability and trot. Thanks to this title, she could demonstrate her movements at the Flanders Christmas Jumping at Mechelen (BE). At the age of 5, in 2014, she was even more successful. ‘Just A Little Bit Krack v/h Klaverhof’ became National Champion in the ‘Open Class’ of SBB and she ended up in the top 10 for the final of the ‘Belgium Cup’. This mare had her 2nd foal in 2014, via embryo transfer. This colt was selected for the Elite Foal Auction at Oldenburg (= the full brother to ‘D’Accord v/h Aegroschot). In 2015, this mare extended her national title, ridden by Nick Van Laer. She also became National Champion in the ‘Open Class’ of SBB. This sequence of performances is never shown before!

She is a daughter of ‘Stedinger’. Several descendants of ‘Stedinger’ are well-known: ‘Schumacher’ became 3rd at the World Championship, under the saddle of Claudia Ruscher, ‘Stamina’ went 2 years in a row to the World Championship under the saddle of Andreas Helgstrand and ‘Statesman’ was sold for an amount of 400.000 EUR on an Elite Auction. A description of her descendants: 1.- Royal Krack v/h Klaverhof (by Royal Diamond) (St. Pr. / El. St.). She became a ‘Staatspremie’ at Oldenburg. Her first foal, ‘Sir Krack’(by Sir Donnerhall) was an approved stallion and earned a Premium at Oldenburg. ‘Sir Krack was nominated for the ‘Bundeschampionat’ under the saddle of GP amazon Victoria Michalke. Her first filly, ‘Suprise Krack’(by Sir Donnerhall) also became a ‘Staatspremie’ and was nominated for the ‘Elite Stuten Show’ at Rastede. She became, as 3 and 4 year old mare Provincial and National BWP champion and she won the dressage aptitude test with 85%! Her first descendant, Romantic Krack (by Don Romantic), became Provincial Champion at the age of 3 and 4 year old. 3.- ‘Hotly Krack v/h Klaverhof’ (by Hotline) became as 6 year old Provincial and National Champion of BWP. 4.- ‘Just A Little Bit Krack v/h Klaverhof’ (by Tango) (St. Pr. St.). She became a ‘Staatspremie’ at Oldenburg and she was nominated for the ‘Elite Stuten Show’. She became as yearling and as two year old mare National Champion of BWP and at the age of three ‘reserve’ National Champion of BWP. As 5 and 6 year old, she won the title of National Champion of SBB Championship for young horses. She became 2nd at the dressage aptitude test with the highest score for trot and rideability. 5.-Romanov’s Krack v/h Klaverhof (by Glock’s Romanov) was sold to Blue Hors (Denmark) as a foal.
