HARNESSES Many characteristics of FT Harnesses are a reflection of detailed design, from high-quality materials like USAproduced Biothane-Coated webbing in our synthetic harnesses, to leather harnesses using high-quality harness leather from top European tanneries. FinnTack harnesses are made with strong and durable materials, including stainless steel fittings. Additional features like varied colors and easy-to-clean materials contribute to the practicality of our harnesses. We also focus heavily on our own production, allowing us to better control the quality and therefore provide harnesses that meet our customers’ needs. All FinnTack harness saddle trees come with a 5-year guarantee.
HYBRID SHAPE This shape was designed, developed and tested by Finn Tack in cooperation with our professional sponsored trainers. We have analyzed many different shapes of horses backs to see what we could offer as a good solution for fitting nearly all harness racing horses. Special check hook system on the harness saddle enables even pressure on the harness when both overcheck and backstrap are attached – this prevents the loosening of the check hook as well as gives more space for attaching other equipment such as head poles etc.
