HISTORY Three Peruvian brothers, addicted to the outdoors, decided to combine knowledge with passion. Based on their Hungarian roots and on their family values of sharing, on coexisting and on always doing the right thing, they were convinced that they could create a great start up company founded on the premise ‘we must help others.’ In 2012, the three brothers decided to embark on a journey to the Peruvian Andes. There, they experienced first-hand the cruel reality in which the Andean people live. They learned to value human warmth. As they felt vulnerable to the harsh weather conditions and severe cold, they thought about creating a line of innovative, warm and high quality jackets. In 2013 Höseg is born to help! Through the sale of each jacket, Höseg would donate one to the underprivileged children of the Peruvian Andes. Promoting a culture and a social movement that will be sustainable through the times and always innovative. Today, it is about jackets, tomorrow who knows?

We work under the "buy one give one" model. For every jacket or vest you buy, we deliver one to a child in the high Andean Communities, sheltering 100% of the children in each community. It’s for them that we exist!

More than a brand, we are a concept that seeks to promote responsible consumption and generate a positive impact. Our main purpose is to improve the quality of life of children living in high Andean communities.

POP JACKET This product is part of our 'Buy One, Give One' collection. For each jacket sold, we give a höseg//sun jacket for free to a kid in the Peruvian Andes. This helps us to reach our purpose; improve the quality of life of children in the high andean communities. The colors in each of our jackets tell a story. All of our jackets are charcoal, just like the many facets of life where eiiverything is never just black or white. Our 'One' model is charcoal with coral and turquoise details. To the left, the coral represents both the fire of our heart and our solidarity. To the right, the turquoise reminds us of the cold that accompanies millions of children living in the Peruvian Andes. Our 'Fog' model is a combination of grey and light. We chose this colour to represent the fog, the fog that settles and brings the cold Our ‘Icicle’ model is ivory color and it represents the frost in the Andean Communites brought by the harsh weather conditions these communities are exposed to. This is how we represent what Höseg is and we make it visible in every detail so our story is always present. For everyone to share it and for everyone to remember.

ACCESSORIES All of our accessories help us spread warmth in the high andean communities so that we can reach our purpose; improve the life quality of children that live in these areas that are so vulnerable to frost. All of our accessories also work under the model ‘Buy One, Plant One.’ For any accessory you buy, we will plant an Andean Cedar in collaboration with Pachamama Raymi. The Andean Cedar is a native endangered tree. By planting andean cedars we will be helping restore lost ecosystems and providing andean communities with an additional income source due to the high quality timber of the Andean Cedar. These Andean Communities are also taught how to manage this resource sustainably and responsibly to ensure it becomes a long term asset for the community. Our beanies are reversible, one side in grey tones and on the other either yellow (hope), turquoise (jeg) or fuscia (tuz). Each color represents a story. Yellow represents the light of hope, turquoise represents the cold and fucsia represents the fire within us.

Our brand new health and wellbeing line seeks to promote a healthy, consequent and warm way of life. These products are made with baby alpaca, organic cotton and copper fibre.The copper fibre adds not only an innovative edge to what would otherwise be a simple sock or beanie but also an additional benefit to the consumer. Copper is known for its anti-stress, anti-microbial and anti-odour properties (amongst others). This is our first batch of accessories that has traceability all the way to the raw materials and thus promoting consequent production. With USDA Organic & Fair Trade Certification, these products support the use of environmentally conscious practices of small farmers and producers whilst fostering sustainable practices. To close the circle and in line with our company purpose, for each of these products we will plant an endemic tree that seeks not only to restore endangered ecosystems but also to provide long term economic income to the communities.
