MADE WITH MERINO WOOL

From farm to fabric, Merino wool is a biodegradable, natural and renewable fiber.

All of our Merino is ethically produced from non-mulesed Australian Merino sheep. Merino wool is made from exceptionally fine fibers that biodegrade over time.  Soft, comfortable, moisture wicking, odor resistant, temperature regulating, and  UV protection are the main properties of this natural produce.

The basis for any ride, the Flow Merino collection does it all. Keeps you cool when hot, check. Keeps you warm whilst wet, check. Keeps you fresh after a long ride, check. Merino is a soft, lightweight and temperature-regulating fabric that insulates, breathes and dries in an instant.

The fast-wicking is delivered in a ride-ready cut that allows full movement so you can find your flow in all conditions. We’ve added a recycled polyamide into the weave to reduce piling and add durability for repeat usage, season after season.

Wear it on all-day epics, morning commutes, hot climbs and fresh descents, with a shell when necessary. Our Merino blend is made of 45% Wool (Merino) and 55% recycled polyamide (Nylon).

Vom Bauernhof bis zum Stoff ist Merinowolle eine biologisch abbaubare, natürliche und erneuerbare Faser. Die Basis für jede Fahrt bietet die Flow Merino-Kollektion. Hält Dich kühl, wenn es heiß ist. Hält Dich warm, auch wenn es nass ist. Hält Dich nach einer langen Fahrt frisch - prüfe es selbst. Merino ist ein weicher, leichter und temperaturregulierender Stoff, der im Handumdrehen isoliert, atmet und trocknet.

Das schnell feuchtigkeitsableitende Material wird in einem fahrbereiten Schnitt geliefert, der volle Bewegungsfreiheit ermöglicht, so dass Du unter allen Bedingungen Deinen Flow findest. Wir haben dem Gewebe recyceltes Polyamid beigemischt, um Piling zu reduzieren und die Haltbarkeit Saison für Saison, zu erhöhen.

Trage es bei ganztägigen Touren, beim morgendlichen Pendeln, bei heißen Anstiegen und bei frischen Abfahrten, bei Bedarf auch mit einer Shell-Jacke. Unsere Merinomischung besteht aus 45 % Wolle (Merino) und 55 % recyceltem Polyamid (Nylon).

If there is one thing that we truly crave in bad weather, it is to know that the jacket we’re about to put on works. That was what we set out to create with the Carve All-Weather Jacket: the most dependable piece to see you safely through the harshest conditions. This jacket is powered by our X-Stretch waterproof fabric, relying on its proven protection, adaptive fit and extreme breathability. Once the foundation was set, we zoomed in on the details, adding a fully adjustable helmetcompatible hood, YKK waterproof zippers, underarm vents, plus two traditional pockets and one on the sleeve, all of which elevate the usability of this piece to the next level. This next-gen version has a revised cut making it even more suited for riding and living.

Wenn es etwas gibt, wonach wir uns bei schlechtem Wetter wirklich sehnen, dann ist es die Gewissheit, dass die Jacke, die wir tragen, funktioniert. Genau das wollten wir mit der Carve All-Weather Jacket erreichen: ein zuverlässiges Teil, das Dich sicher durch die härtesten Bedingungen bringt. Diese Jacke basiert auf unserem wasserdichten X-Stretch 20kGewebe, das sich durch bewährten Schutz, eine individuelle Passform und extreme Atmungsaktivität auszeichnet. Glaube uns, wenn wir sagen, dass 20.000g/m2/24h bedeuten, dass Du selbst beim längsten Aufstieg auch von innen keine Feuchtigkeit spürst.

Nachdem das Fundament gelegt war, haben wir uns den Details gewidmet und eine voll verstellbare, helmtaugliche Kapuze, wasserdichte YKK-Reißverschlüsse, Unterarmbelüftungen, zwei herkömmliche Taschen sowie eine am Ärmel hinzugefügt. All diese Details heben die Benutzerfreundlichkeit dieses Kleidungsstücks auf die nächste Stufe. Diese neue Version hat einen überarbeiteten Schnitt, der sie noch besser zum Fahren und für den Alltag macht. Um die Leistungsfähigkeit noch weiter zu steigern, haben wir zusätzliche Belüftungsöffnungen am Rücken angebracht, um den Balloneffekt zu vermeiden, der beim Shredden mit einer Regenjacke oft auftritt, und um die Temperaturregulierung zu verbessern, wenn es mal wieder bergauf geht.

Established 1979 in the center of Switzerland. iXS develops, produces and provides safety equipment for motorcyclists in form of leathers known in the late 70s and 80s. With the advance of technology, soon textiles, modern protectors and functional fabrics were introduced. Two decades later the brand diversified into the bicycle market with apparel and safety equipment for mountain bikers.

Everything we do is rooted in riding. From apparel to protection, we live a passion for the freedom of two wheels and the places we do it –pedal powered or engine powered. Our performance apparel, helmets and protection are real-world tested and designed for every ride and everyone.
