Bronxnet TV Show
CBNP and Bronxnet developed a 30-minute monthly show to highlight the work of nonprofits. Mission Bronx, features the mission-driven work of nonprofits in the borough.
Public Conversations and Convenings
These discussions bring the public, industry representatives, nonprofit practitioners, funders and government officials together to network, discuss issues and explore possibilities for action.
Conferences
Conferences have included; Aging in the Bronx, The Complete Count Census Conference, an Overview of Nonprofit Regulations with Attorney General Letitia James and the Annual Women’s Resilience Conference.
Tuition Discount
.Register for 2 or more classes: 5% discount.
.Seniors (62 years or older) and Hostos Retirees: 15% discount. .HCC students, staff and alumni with valid ID card: 15% discount. Note: Only one discount applies.
Registration Fee
There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee per person, per semester.
Tuition and Fees
Registration is done on a first come first served basis. Students are not considered officially registered until they have completed their tuition payment. Most courses require the purchase of books. No personal checks accepted.
Changes in Programs
The Continuing Education Department reserves the right to cancel courses, make substitutions in faculty and change the days, times and locations of classes, if necessary. We are not responsible for misprints in catalogues, brochures and/or advertisements. In the event of an error, we will make every effort to provide you with the correct information. All courses depend on sufficient registration to operate. If a course is cancelled by the College, all registrants will receive a full refund.
Session Guarantee
Bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances may cause the cancellation of a class session. For bad weather cancellation information, please check the college website http://www.hostos.cuny.edu or call Public Safety at 718-518-6888. We guarantee that the number of sessions and/or number of hours specified for each course will be allotted.
Refund/Withdrawal
Request for a refund or credit must be submitted in writing together with a copy of the registration receipt. Lack of attendance does not constitute withdrawal and eligibility for a refund or credit. There will be a 100% refund if a class is cancelled by the College. Registration fees are non-refundable unless class is cancelled by the College.
Credits must be claimed within the current semester of student’s registration. Credits must be used within 6 months from the date issued. Refunds must be requested before class start. Allow 3-5 weeks for refund/credit processing.
Course Cancellation
Courses are subject to minimum enrollment. When courses are cancelled, students may transfer to another course or receive a full refund. All efforts will be made to contact students in the event of a course cancellation.

Certificate Programs
Certificates of successful completion are issued to all students who satisfactorily complete a Certificate Program. Certificates are withheld pending receipt of all outstanding tuition and fees.
Delinquent Payments
The College reserves the right to withhold the privileges of class attendance, use of facilities and services and access to certificates of completion from students with delinquent payments.

Descuentos en la Matricula
.Si se matricula a dos o más clases: 5% de descuento.
.Para personas mayores (de 62 años de edad o más), y jubilados Hostos: 15% de descuento.
.Para estudiantes, personal y ex alumnos de HCC que presenten una tarjeta de identificación valida: 15% de descuento. Solamente se permite un tipo de descuento para cada persona.
Tarifa de Registración
Hay una tarifa sin devolución de $25 para cada persona, cada semestre.
Matricula y Costos
Los estudiantes se matricularán por orden de llegada. Los estudiantes no se consideran oficialmente matriculados hasta que no hayan pagado el precio total. La mayoría de cursos requieren la compra de libros. No se aceptan cheques personales.
Cambios en el Programa
El Programa de Educación Continua para adultos se reserva el derecho de cancelar cursos, sustituir profesores, cambiar los días, horas y lugares de clases si fuera necesario. No somos responsables de errores de imprenta en el catálogo ni en los anuncios. En caso de error haremos todo lo posible para proporcionarle la información correcta. La realización de los cursos depende de que haya un numero suficiente de matriculas. Si Hostos cancela algún curso, todos los alumnos matriculados recibirán el reembolso completo de la tarifa.
Sesión Garantizada
El mal tiempo u otra circunstancia inesperada podría causar la cancelación de alguna sesión del curso. Devolución/Cancelación
Para recibir una reembolso deberá presentar una aplicación de devolución junto con una copia de su recibo de matricula. La falta de asistencia no constituye una cancelación ni el derecho a reembolso. Recibirá un reembolso de 100% si Hostos cancela la clase. Las tarifas de matricula no se reembolsarán a no ser que Hostos cancele la clase.
El crédito debe utilizarse en un plazo de 6 meses a partir de la fecha de emisión. Todo reembolso debe ser sometido antes de el comienzo de clase. Permita de 3 a 5 semanas de trabajo para procesar.
Cancelación de Clases
Los cursos están sujetos a un mínimo de estudiantes matriculados. Cuando se cancele algún curso, los estudiantes pueden transferirse a otro curso o recibir un reembolso total. Todo esfuerzo sera realizado para contactar a los estudiantes si la clase es cancelada.

You May Be Eligible for Tuition Assistance
Many of our courses are eligible for vouchers and reimbursement through employers, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Workforce 1 Centers, ACCES-VR and other government assistance programs.

Employment Vouchers may be available through your employer. Contact the Human Resources, Personnel or Training Department at your place of employment to receive information on vouchers for tuition reimbursement opportunities.

Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Vouchers may be available for individuals who are unemployed, dislocated, disabled, youth (14-21) meeting certain requirements or displaced workers.
NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training: State employees receive $1,220 per year to pay for academic and vocational courses, as well as $350 for certification and licensure exam fees.

AFSCME union members and their dependents are eligible to receive scholarships for both degree and non-degree courses.
Career Success Scholarship-Helena Rubinstein is open to individuals who are unemployed or those seeking to advance or change careers through continuing education and training, and do not have access to other sources of funding.

For prospective students that are interested in a Hostos Continuing Education course and/or program, requests for reasonable accommodation must be accompanied by documentation of disability which will help us evaluate the limitations of the disability and determine an appropriate reasonable accommodation. Students should submit requests and documentation to program coordinators as soon as possible and no later that two weeks prior to the class start date. We will review and evaluate the request and arrange for a reasonable accommodation that would be appropriate.

You must have a Hostos Campus CE account to register for all course sections, make payments and access account information. Please follow the directions below to access and/or create an account.
• Navigate to your web browser address bar and enter the following: https://www.campusce.net/hostoswdce/category/category.aspx
• Click Sign-in
• Existing Users: Sign-in with the credentials associated with your account
• Use Find My Username to verify username by providing email associated with your account (email address provided at registration; contact the Program Coordinator for email verification).
• Use Reset My Password to reset your account password. You must have access to this email account to reset your password. Use the link provided to reset your password.
• New User: Create New Account and provide all information. Select Create Account.
Online Registration
• Select a category or review full course listing.
• When selecting a category, a list of courses will be displayed.
• Select a course to view.
• Select your desired course section and add to cart.
• Once item is added, you will be directed to your shopping cart.
• Review all The Continuing Education Program’s Policies and Procedures
• Select an item from the drop down “How did you hear about us?”
• Click Check Out.
• Confirm contact and other information. Click Next.
• Confirm payment method. Partial Payments are now available. Click Next.
• Enter Billing Information.
• Confirm Purchase by clicking Purchase
• Credit card will be processed by an external payment service. A new window will open to process your payment. Disable pop-up blockers on your browser if this window does not open.
