WALKING DINNER

If you’re looking for a dining option that’s less formal than a sit-down dinner, a walking dinner is a great alternative. For groups of 30 or more, we create a dynamic setting (which can also include a combination of standing and sitting) where guests can move freely throughout the space. A walking dinner is perfect for networking events or as a prelude to an evening of celebration.

The various small dishes are culinary experiences and a feast for the eyes. We serve all items on trendy tableware and they are easily enjoyed while standing; you might find a glass, an amuse-bouche spoon, or a trendy skewer with tantalizing bites passing by.

A walking dinner starts from € 69 per person. Prices for the dishes are per person, and we recommend selecting a menu of at least six dishes.

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION

Beachclub O. does not have its own parking facilities. However, parking is available on the boulevard, just a stone’s throw away from the beach club. Additionally, there is a public parking lot called Wantveld (Wantveld 2, 2202 NS, Noordwijk aan Zee), which is a five-minute walk from the beach club. Guests can park there independently, subject to availability, and parking fees must be paid directly at the parking meter or via an app such as Parkmobile.

Since parking in Noordwijk can be challenging on summer days and weekends, we offer a good alternative in partnership with Koninklijke Beuk, where we can guarantee parking spots for your guests. Parking is available at the Koninklijke Beuk parking lot located at the edge of the village as you enter Noordwijk. From there, a shuttle service will provide transportation to and from Beachclub O.

Beachclub O. is easily accessible by both car and public transportation. The Vuurtorenplein bus stop, where multiple buses depart for various train stations in the region, is a twominute walk away.

CAPACITY

Beachclub O. can be divided into three different spaces: Barzaal, Serre en Strandzaal. Thanks to the flexible walls, it’s very easy to separate the spaces from each other within seconds or to combine them. The beach club also has three terraces: Seaside Terrace 1, Seaside Terrace 2, and the Brasserie Terrace. Seaside Terraces 1 and 2 can respectively be connected to the Strandzaal en Barzaal

It is possible to book one or more sections of the beach club exclusively. Did you know that it’s even possible to book the entire beach club, including all terraces, exclusively? We would be happy to inform you about the possibilities!

BEACH USE

Beachclub O. leases an area of over 6,000 m² on the Noordwijk beach. In addition to the current buildings of the beach club and the terraces, part of the beach is used for the rental of sunbeds and cabanas. For activity programs and sports clinics, the use of the exploitation area is subject to availability.

PERMITS AND EXEMPTIONS

Beachclub O. closes at 00:00. The Municipality of Noordwijk offers 8 exemptions per year for the closing time until 01:00. This must be requested at least 8 weeks before the event. The costs for this are €250 per permit.

A permit is required for the use of the exploitation area outside the current building for the placement of a tent or pavilion. This must be requested at least 8 weeks in advance. The costs for this are €250 per permit.

The beach can also be used for various events and activities, but permission or in most cases a permit from the Municipality of Noordwijk is required. After obtaining permission to use the exploitation area of Beachclub O., the organizer must apply for a permit themselves.

PUBLIC TOILETS

The toilets of Beachclub O. can be used by all guests. During events that exclusively rent the Bar Hall, Conservatory, and Beach Hall, the toilets are not automatically included. Terrace guests and beach guests can also use them via a separate entrance on the north side of the building. If exclusively reserving the toilet block is desired, a mobile toilet trailer must be provided for other guests. The costs for this are borne by the organizer.

ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

With regard to procurement and dinner preparations, it is necessary to know the correct number of persons with dietary requirements and/or allergies 7 days before the event. For changes later than this time and on the evening itself, the full meal price will be charged as additional dinner costs.

FLAGS AND BANNERS

We are happy to provide a flagpole free of charge for flags measuring only 2 x 3 meters and banners measuring only 1.5 meters x 4.5 meters. We have multiple masts available in the Duintuin and around Beachclub O. If other guests also wish to use them, the distribution of the masts will be determined by Hotels van Oranje.

AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT

Beachclub O. has a complete and location-covering sound system for background music, speeches, presentations, and parties.

We charge €350 per half day for the use of the DJ booth. This includes the use of 2x Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000 NXS2 music players and a Pioneer DJ DJM-900 NXS2 mixer. These systems are connected to the existing sound system. The use includes the rental of the DJ booth. It is only allowed to be used by skilled DJs. If the use results in damage, the repair costs will be charged to the client.

Up to 22:00, the maximum permitted sound level is 75 dB to prevent disturbance to other guests of Beachclub O.This restriction does not apply when Beachclub O. is fully rented. After 22:00 or when the location is fully rented, Beachclub O. reserves the right to lower the volume of artist(s) as soon as the volume exceeds the legally allowed decibels of 85dB. This is to protect our employees. Of course, this will be arranged in good mutual consultation with the contact person, if necessary.

If an adjusted closing time is used, the sound level must be limited to 75 dB after 00:00 and the doors and walls must be closed to avoid disturbance to the surroundings. The speakers outside will also be turned off.

If additional audiovisual equipment is required by your booked entertainment, we are happy to assist you in arranging this through our in-house supplier. We would like to hear your preferences and preferably the full artist’s rider.

The existing lighting plan can be adjusted per room. The ambient lighting includes various scenes. These cannot be adjusted and/or controlled during an event.
