Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, the one-Michelin-star restaurant at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, invites you to celebrate the warm season with its new ‘Summer Journey’ menu, available from 1 April to 30 September 2023. This culinary adventure showcases the innovative modern Thai creations of award-winning Michelin-star chef Henrik Yde-Andersen and senior head chef Berm Chayawee Suthcharitchan.
The ‘Summer Journey’ is inspired by Chef Henrik’s gastronomic travels through Thailand and his life in Europe, where he owns a vineyard and farm in Spain. Drawing from the essence of summer, Chef Henrik and Chef Chayawee have crafted a menu featuring the finest seasonal ingredients to evoke the spirit of the season.
Comprising 16 exquisite courses, the ‘Summer Journey’ begins with Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin’s signature eight ‘street food’ canapés, which delight guests with their playful flavors and textures. The journey continues with dishes such as red raw prawn carpaccio, five-spice duck consommé, Hokkaido scallop with Thai seafood sauce, and Alaskan king crab with cold ‘tom kha’ semi-frozen and white asparagus ice cream.

London’s Iconic Wolseley Pops Up in Bangkok
Experience the distinguished European fare of The Wolseley Hospitality Group, owner and operator of some of London’s best-loved restaurants, as they bring their renowned culinary creations to Bangkok for a limited time. From April 18, 2023, Bangkok foodies and gastronomes can indulge in European grand café tradition as Café Wolseley, the group’s first international venture, opens at Madison Restaurant at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel for three months.
Café Wolseley combines British heritage with European grandeur, serving Wolseley classics alongside contemporary additions. From Dressed Dorset Crab with brown crab mayonnaise and lemon to The Wolseley’s Coq au Vin of red wine-braised chicken with pancetta, pearl onions, and button mushrooms, diners can expect a menu full of quintessential European classics. The dessert menu features delicious treats such as classic Apple Strudel of spiced apples and dried fruits encased in filo pastry with a Calvados cream, and Mixed Berry Pavlova, a light and chewy meringue filled with fresh seasonal berries.
The fixed-price menu of two or three courses with choices is also available, and groups of up to eighteen diners can sample a five-course private menu of Classic Wolseley Canapés, Prawn and Avocado Cocktail, Heritage Beetroot Salad, Roast Anjou Chicken with Morels, and Baked Vanilla Cheesecake in the restaurant’s private dining room.
Café Wolseley in Bangkok is helmed by chef David Stevens, Group Executive Chef at The Wolseley Hospitality Group and former Head Chef at The Wolseley in London. Stevens’ illustrious culinary career began in Michelin-starred establishments, including Fleur de Sel in England, Chateau de Montreuil in France, and Dolder Grand in Switzerland, before moving to The Ivy in London and starting his own business, Proof is in the Pudding. Stevens joined The Wolseley in London in 2013 as Head Pastry Chef before becoming Head Chef in 2017.

Indulge in a three-tiered selection of delicacies, including traditional English cucumber sandwiches, cheese scones, English trifle, and more. Guests can choose from a wide range of spe- cialty teas or coffee, and the afternoon tea set includes a glass of prosecco each. The tea set is priced at THB 700 for one person or THB 1,200 for two people, plus applicable service charge and government taxes.
