The Hua Hin Marathon, led by Chiva-Som Hua Hin and the Preserve Hua Hin Group, proved to be an awe-inspiring spectacle, drawing over 3,000 runners to participate in a race that went beyond just crossing the finish line.
Among the passionate runners were world-class athletes, Indian-born Sufiya Sufi, and Thailand’s cherished triathlete, Tulyatep Uawithya. Both remarkable individuals, serving as official ambassadors for Chiva-Som as part of the ‘Friends of Chiva-Som’ program, united in promoting wellness through fitness.
Sufiya Sufi, a multi-Guinness World Record ultramarathon champion, etched her name in history earlier this year with an astonishing feat. She conquered an arduous nearly 125-mile distance run across Qatar, from south to north, completing the journey at Zulal Wellness Resort, operated by Chiva-Som, in a remarkable 30 hours and 31 minutes, securing her fourth Guinness world record.
