Welcome Onboard
MAY 2023
In the past few years, private aviation has been on the rise with more people and businesses choosing to fly private. Our industry has long been associated with luxury, exclusivity, and a certain degree of inaccessibility. However, it has evolved significantly over the years, making it more accessible to a wider range of clients.

The future of private jet flying is bright, with several emerging trends set to shape the industry in the years to come. One of the most significant trends is the increasing use of technology. Private jet and charter companies invest heavily in technology to enhance customer experience, and it includes everything from advanced avionics that make flying safer and more efficient, to mobile apps that let customers book flights and manage their schedules.
Longer-range planes are becoming more desirable, leading to a trend toward enhancing fuel efficiency – the latest Bombardier Global Express 7500 and 8000 aircraft have set a new standard in range, speed and comfort.
However, with private aviation becoming increasingly popular, major international airports have recorded higher congestion levels. To address this issue, lobbying efforts have been made to create more private-only airports. These airports, such as Teterboro in New York and Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi, offer great infrastructure and are located close to downtown areas. More private airports just for private planes will improve efficiency and make room for the growing number of private jets.
I am exceptionally pleased with the arrival of the Jetex brand in Abu Dhabi. With an exceptionally strong team in place, Jetex Abu Dhabi will offer a new level of customer experience and comfort at Al Bateen, which is already the region’s only airport dedicated to business aviation.
As always, thank you for choosing Jetex for your global private jet travels.
