Once CENSU FENECH discovered his talent for sculpting, there was no stopping him. After attending the local School of Art, he obtained a diploma in sculpture with distinction. In 2014 he won the Malta Society of Arts National Competition: The overall prize in the painting and sculpture section. In 2015 he was featured in the New York publication ‘International Contemporary Artists’. Later he was invited to exhibit his work in several European cities and in New York, Florida, and California. He produced a series of ceramic sculptures, working with clay and building structures with wire and a mixture of cement and marble powder. In 2016 Censu Fenech was featured in a Berlin publication called ‘Awarded Art’. Also, in 2016 Censu received the Honorary Diploma of the Berliner Art Prize. Most recently in October 2020, Censu Fenech was awarded the “Certificate of Excellence” by the Circle Foundation for the Arts. I am immensely proud to show the fabulous “Free Form” sculptures created by Censu Fenech. This is already the second exhibition of Censu’s sculptures at my gallery, and I am delighted that after the fantastic resonance of last year’s exhibition, Censu has again agreed to this current exhibition. I am honoured to collaborate with such a creative, prominent, award-winning sculptor. Censu is a prominent and genuine internationally recognised Maltese artists. Pictures will never do justice to the real artwork, so I am really excited to show you, the visitor to the gallery, the unique talent and skill of this brilliant artist. I am sure that the visual impressions you take home with you will stay in your memory for a long time. Please do contact me if you wish to see more of Censu’s sculptures which we are unable to include in this exhibition for lack of space.

The art gallery RUDY BUHLER ART – The Colour Project, is owned and managed by its founder, Rudy Buhler, a Swiss national. The gallery aims to host various art related events and to exhibit six to eight different artists every year with a clear concept: Abstract or informal or non-figurative art, paintings, and sculptures, created by contemporary artists. The mission of the gallery is to find and promote emerging talents as well as established artists from Malta and abroad, to bring high quality original and unique art to the public space and to provide artists with opportunities to show their skills and talents to the wider public. The gallery can also host small private functions or art related events in the stimulating setting of an art gallery, surrounded by original and unique paintings or sculptures.
