How Will We Evaluate Our Efforts? The steering committee will meet to develop a strategy of how to evaluate the postsecondary access initiatives.
In addition to the formative and summative evaluations of each individual activity, the overall initiative will be evaluated based on the following:
Advanced placement and dual credit completion will increase College entrance exams taken by high school students will increase The number of high school seniors completing college admissions applications and FAFAS will increase Increase in awareness of parents and students surveyed at the beginning and end of academic school year College readiness percent based on college entrance exams and TAKS scores will increase
The evidence for the success of these initiatives will be garnered by the WEST system, college transition report, AEIS report, and Lee College’s institutional research department.
