According to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, the chief medical examiner for Harris County, Texas Luis A. Sanchez, M.D., the Cause of Death for Tamoria Jones, was Acute Ethanol, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and fentanyl toxicity. In the Postmortem Examination of the Body of Tamoria Jones, the Harris County Medical Examiner determined that this 35-year-old Black female with a reported history of drug use was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital-Southwest, by 3 males where she was pronounced deceased upon arrival on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 8:50 a.m. According to chief medical examiner Luis A. Sanchez, M.D., the identity of Tamoria Jones was confirmed by her fingerprints. Investigative reporter/publisher Aubrey R. Taylor was the first reporter in the nation to report the facts surrounding the suspicious death of state Rep. Harold Dutton, Jr's (78), alleged lover and chief of staff Tamoria Jones who was only 35 years old at the time of her death.
