Two Great Texans You Should Know!

AUBREY: “I encourage you to get to know more about former Judge Levi J. Benton and Gov. Greg Abbott.” AUBREY R. TAYLOR: “Make no mistake about it, I was really pulling for former Judge Levi J. Benton back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Republican Party Primary race for Judge, 1st Court of Appeals, Place 5. In case you don’t know him, Judge Benton served as judge of the 215th Civil District Court from 1999 to 2008. I believe Judge Benton would have served the people of Texas well, had he been given the opportunity to do so. Also, before I forget, I would like to ask you guys to pray for Gov. Greg Abbott and all of our elected leaders as they strive to guide us safely through the pivotal moment in the history of our great nation. And, please don’t forget that the Honorable Judge James Lombardino is asking for our support on Tuesday, July, 14, 2020 in the Republican Party runoff race for Judge, 1st Court of Appeals, Place 5. God bless America!!!

To win, Judge James Lombardino must now defeat Attorney Terry Adams on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in the following counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Waller, and Washington — Early voting starts on Monday, July 6, 2020 and ends July 10, 2020

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS

On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, the Honorable Judge James Lombardino will be facing off against Attorney Terry Adams in the race for Justice, 1st Court of Appeals, Place 5. This race will take place across ten counties in the state of Texas. In case you don’t already know, Harris County and Fort Bend County will both

play pivotal roles in determining who wins this runoff race. Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Galveston, Grimes, Waller, and Washington counties will also be in play. As a refresher, back on March 3, 2020, in the Republican Party Primary, former Judge James Lombardino won Harris County and trailed Terry Adams in Brazoria and Fort Bend. However, with former Judge’s Levi J. Benton and Chad Bridges out of the way, it’s conceivable that Judge James Lombardino could win this runoff if he’s able to rally his supporters to show back up to cast their ballot on July 14th. He will also need to pick up some support from the party-faithful who cast their ballot for former Judge Chad Bridges (the third-place finisher) and former Judge Levi J. Benton (the fourthplace) finisher back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

ABOUT JUDGE LOMBARDINO

Judge James Lombardino began his legal career as an assistant district attorney at the Harris County DA’s office. Shortly after leaving the DA’s office he became a litigation partner in a local Houston-area law firm. While at the law firm, he gained valuable experience tying jury and non-jury cases throughout the state of Texas, and inside of United States federal courts. All of his hard work and diligence paid off back in 2010, when he was elected as judge of the 308th Family District Court in Harris County, Texas. In case you don’t know, Judge Lombardino did a great job presiding over the 308th Family District Court through 2018, when he, and many of his fellow Republican colleagues were swept from office in the 2018 wave led by former Congressman Beto O’Rourke, the “ME TOO MOVEMENT”, and the “Black Girl Magic” phenomenon where a large contingent of African American female judge (the nineteen) garnered worldwide attention and swung countywide races in favor of every Democratic candidate. However, all wasn’t lost whereas Judge James Lombardino is concerned, as to date, he continues to serve the people of Texas as visiting judge.”

JUDGE LOMBARDINO HAS THE EXPERIENCE

The 1st Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 5, is responsible for ruling on civil, criminal and family law cases. Of the two choices facing off in the Tuesday, July

14, 2020, Republican Primary runoff, Judge James Lombardino appears to be the conservative with the most experience in these core areas. Judge Lombardino’s extensive trial experience, coupled with the valuable experience he’s garnered over the years serving as a judge has uniquely prepared him to server the people of Texas. “With eight years on the trial bench, I am very familiar with the issues a trial judge faces,” said Judge Lombardino. “I have extensive, knowledge of trial procedures, both civil and criminal rules of evidence, venue issues, and multi-jurisdictional issues including Hague Convention International Issues,” Judge Lombardino explained. What is he talking about? Well, I had to look it up myself. So, according to what I reviewed on “WIKIPEDIA” the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction or Hague Abduction Convention is a multilateral treaty developed by the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) that provides an expeditious method to return a child internationally abducted by a parent from one member country to another.

ABOUT THE COURT

Electing Judge James Lombardino as a Justice to the Court of Appeals could benefit all Texans. “The court of appeals is managed by Chief Justice Sherry Radack,” explains Judge Lombardino. “Should I defeat Terry Adams to win the Republican nomination on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, and then defeat the Democrat nominee (Amparo Monique Guerra) on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, I’ll be afforded the opportunity use my knowledge on family law issues to help identify cases that need the appellate court’s immediate attention,” he said. “These cases include, for example issues concerning the possession and safety of children and cases seeking termination of the parent-child relationship,” he went on to explain.

CALL TO ACTION

Judge James Lombardino is calling on all conservatives to cast their vote for him during the early voting period, which begins on Monday, July 6, 2020, and ends on Friday, July 10, 2020. Election Day voting for the “2020 Republican Party Primary Runoff Election” will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 – if the Lord says the same.
