1.5 Limitations and delimitations

The research paper is conducted during the Movement Control Order, the primary data collection is compromised due to it restricts us to conduct face to face interviews and visit the studios of the designers in the fashion industry. Also, the fashion industry in Malaysia is not widespread as other first world countries in the world like Paris and Italy so we are not able to collect as much data as we could with the situation we are having during the time of conducting the research paper. The lack of reliable data due to the lack of a complete system available that records all of the contributions that is made by the fashion industry could also affect the accuracy of the data collection. The scope of the study covers how the fashion industry contributes PPE to the current pandemic internationally however due to the limitations we had in the current situation our methodology will be set as conducting the study and data collection just in Malaysia. Also, the study also only covers the contribution of PPE from the fashion industry excluding financial and other forms of contribution to the current pandemic.
