Stretch before you cycle Some Woodlea residents have sprightly little legs that can pedal for hours. Others of us may have spent more time at a desk recently than on a bike. Using adaptive coaching techniques and equipment, Riding Develops Abilities (RDA) Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation enabling individuals with a variety of disabilities, ages and backgrounds to develop independence, a sense of freedom and to reach their horse riding goals. In recent times the developers of Woodlea – VIP and Mirvac – have donated a full size, under cover horse riding arena, storage, horse shelters, off road trails and a new office space for the headquarters of the Melton RDA centre.

Healthy participation in sport, recreation and the arts makes for a healthy and engaged community. At Woodlea we pride ourselves upon the encouragement of active lifestyles through our support of a number of local clubs and interest groups.
