‘Quality third places’ is conceptualized from considering our homes to be the first places, and our workplaces, the second.

‘The Third Place’ intends to provide opportunities for recreation and leisure to enhance livability, social cohesion and foster human interaction. The existing site has an uneven distribution of positive activity generators, despite the area being a TOD influence zone.

The objective is to balance the quality of life within the available quantity of space by restructuring, reactivating and repurposing existing urban space in the city.

Adaptive Fututres- R.E.A.L. Lab Semester V-VI (Group of three)

QURIO-CITY project will be a state-ofthe-art space center, hub for scientific exploration, source of inspiration, and beacon of hope. The design will be a regenerative and resilient space center with human-centric design, sustainable features, and adaptable technology for an urban environment in 2075.

It will transform its surroundings, integrate new space exploration technologies and adjust to changes.

The objective is to create a living, sustainable, and adaptable structure that unlocks the potential of the cosmos while promoting social, economic, and cultural flexibility.

Through explorative and three-dimensional experimentation, and draw system-ic parallels within the natural habitat and analyze the design, characteristics, operations, and provocations of ecological infrastructure.

This LEGO form of the skyscraper building embodies a unique fusion of nature and urbanism. The lego form is informed by the surrounding environment, taking into account wind patterns, solar orientation, and noise pollution.

Our primary consideration has been to prioritize the organization of public, semi-public, and private spaces according to our final horizontal stratification plan. We have carefully considered the placement of these spaces to ensure optimal functionality.

The ground floor access of the QURIO-CITY space center is ingeniously designed to welcome visitors into an immersive experience from the moment they step foot inside. Upon entry, guests are greeted by a spacious lobby adorned with interactive displays showcasing the wonders of space exploration

Welcome to Antaranga, a visionary art and cultural center designed to ignite the soul and inspire creativity. The architectural vision embodies the essence of inclusivity, providing a space where diverse voices, traditions, and forms of expression converge harmoniously.

As a hub for artistic exchange and cultural dialogue, Antaranga offers a rich tapestry of experiences, including galleries showcasing local and international artworks, performance venues hosting vibrant live performances, and collaborative spaces nurturing creativity and innovation.

Rooted in a vision of holistic rural development, the endeavor seeks to address the evolving challenges of the agricultural sector while nurturing a culture of innovation, sustainability, and community empowerment.

The architecture reflects the local vernacular while incorporating modern elements to create a visually striking and culturally relevant space.

MANUFACTURING AND STORAGE

The small manufacturing and product selling block, complemented by an office space, plays a pivotal role in supporting the agricultural training center’s mission of promoting sustainable agriculture and rural development. Through its integrated approach to manufacturing, and marketing, the block serves as a catalyst for innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment within the agricultural community.

Embracing the concept of the “third skin,” this residence in Gurgaon goes beyond being a shelter, transforming into a soulful haven that reflects the warmth and allure of Moroccan design.
