Village Fankar is a unique housing academic project for semester 8 Urban Habitat studio. It is located in Sector 70, Gurugram, designed to foster a vibrant community of artists. Inspired by my experiences as a student and aspiring artist, I noticed a gap in the availability of dedicated, supportive spaces for creative individuals to live and collaborate. Village Fankar addresses this need by offering creatively designed living spaces, from cozy studios to spacious lofts, all bathed in natural light. The project features amenities such as art studios, meditation gardens, and communal areas, providing the perfect environment for inspiration and collaboration. The execution involved extensive research, consultations with artists and urban planners, and the integration of sustainable building practices. Village Fankar offers flexible housing options tailored to support artists at different stages of their creative journeys, making it a true haven where life and art seamlessly blend, and creativity thrives.
