Wendy Nice Barnes was appointed Chief People Officer (CPO) the addition will bring extensive experience to the company and will help GitLab further its position as a leading DevOps platform.
Sid Sijbrandij, co-founder and CEO, GitLab, said “Wendy has an impressive history of mentoring colleagues and growing leaders from within organizations.”
Barnes joins GitLab with over 20 years of Talent leadership experience in pre-IPO and Fortune 500 companies. She served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Palo Alto Networks, Vice President of Human Resources at eHealth, and held senior HR leadership roles at Netflix and E*TRADE.
Barnes said “I am looking forward to joining such a transparent group of people, leading with the members of the executive team and working closely with its DIB (Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging) and remote leaders to further the great foundation set forth.” Alioune Ciss brings to the role extensive experience from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development where he had been for the last 10 years. Ciss has held the position of Executive Director of Sales and has been instrumental in the company's growth strategy and management of world leading Customs reform digitalisation projects across the globe with key Governmental partners

Amelie Dionne-Charest was recently appointed as the Chair of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce here in HK. Dionne-Charest is also the Co-founder and Managing Director of AD MediLink, a health insurance brokerage firm founded here in Hong Kong and a lawyer by training and an entrepreneur by accident, Charest started her career at the law firm of Heenan Blaikie practicing with the medical litigation group. She then focused on the need for people to be better informed in regards to medical insurance and healthcare pathways.
Dionne-Charest said, “While the pandemic and economic crisis have made our work even more challenging, there has never been a better time than today to redefine who we are and what we do as an organisation and reimagine how to be relevant and effective. Dionne-Charest will be key in building new revenue streams and utilising content strategically for CanCham members.

Guazzarotto brings more than 20 years of expertise as a thought leader in people management, technology and worker experience, having worked in both the Australian and global HR Technology markets. Since 2017, Mr. Kaschner has been the Commercial Director and member of the Management Board of NH Hotel Group Central, Northern & Eastern Europe, UK & Africa.

As SVP of People, Moore will implement a holistic strategy for global recruiting,HR operations, HR business partnerships, employee experience, culture, and internal communications, to facilitate global growth. Previously, Moore held senior people and HR-related leadership roles at Fortune 500 organisations, including Mercedes-Benz, Apple, and Samsung.
