The SUNSET ARTS COLLECTIVE is a new programthatwillbehostedonthissite,with a building that serves as a gathering place for artists, museums, and commercial galleries. Despite the digital world's impact on art, physical media and practices remain crucial,especiallyinapost-COVIDerawhere we are recovering from isolation. West Hollywood values its diverse population and vibrantartsscene,makingitanideallocation for this project. The building's wood structure and skin celebrate the local tectonicsofthearea,andthewoodenscreen filters light into the studios, providing an impressive monument visible from Sunset Blvd.
