The tussle between PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi is no new thing. We are habitual of it now.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi this Wednesday came up with a scathing assault on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the PDP-BJP driven government in J&K, just two days post a bus taking Amarnath pilgrims faced a terrorist attack that killed seven individuals. modi “Modi’s policies have created space for terrorists in Kashmir. Grave strategic blow for India,”, is what Rahul expressed on his Twitter account.

More than 6,000 pilgrims were permitted to move towards the holy shrine from north Kashmir’s Baltal base camp while 5,000 bhakts began moving from the Pahalgam route. An aggregate of 1.5 lakh pilgrims had enlisted for the current year’s yatra. More than 40,000 CRPF staff were deployed to watch the route.

J&K tourism minister Priya Sethi told CNN-News18 channel that the assault could be a result of the repercussions of Hizbul leader Burhan Wani’s death commemoration this year.

This time around, the yatra was being held under the most astounding ever multi-level security setup as intelligence sources had cautioned that terrorists were wanting to target 100 policemen and the same number of pilgrims partaking in the Amarnath Yatra.
