Architecture on Show: architect talks Australian Institute of Architects Architecture on Show is a series of talks on local architecture presented by members of the Australian Institute of Architects as part of the 2013 Sydney Architecture Festival.

Wallarobba – making the most of Hornsby’s heritage
Book Launch – Turner. A Cat’s Story.
The recently restored Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre is a beautiful building that reflects the history of housing in Hornsby. This once grand homestead has been repurposed many times over in its 100 year history; from family home to flats, community centre to arts hub. Join architect, Rolfe Chrystal from Architects of Arcadia, who was the lead architect on the restoration project for a talk on the building, its history, and the challenges involved in re-design.
Turner. A Cat’s Story, recounts the fantastic journey of a cat who leaps from life to life, past to present, whilst revealing the secret mysteries of all felines. Join local author Keili Shillington as she discusses her first novel and the experience of self publishing.
