#24 Eiríksstaðahneflar

Walk on from the sign by the river Þverá south of Eiríksstaðir farm and on to Fremri Hnefill – top (947 m) where you will find the cylinder with the visitors’ log and stamp. rom there decend north of Fremri Hnefill down to Eiríksstaðir. If one wants a longer hiking day one can cross over to the top of Ytri Hnefill and even visit the ruins of the abandoned farm, Hneflasel (since 1875).
