Autobiography / Hi, my name is Hsieh,Hsin-Hsuan , everybody called me CC. I love design. I studied Advertising Design in high school and I graduated from National Yunlin University of Science & Technology major in Industrial Design. Ever since elementary school, I was the bulletin board designer for many years and it feels like I will be in Design industry in the future since I was a little kid. I try to put myself outside of my comfort zone, challenge myself by join lots of design/non-design related competitions and activities to gain as much experience as possible. I constantly enroll classes from other department, using every moment to enrich myself, strengthen my skills, and explore my own potential in different aspect.
At the beginning of my last year in high school, I got my first Ad case with pay by visiting firms to firms with my portfolio. I learned how to interact and communicate with customers while working on the case. In freshman year, transferred from graphics to industrial design, made me realize the packaging and product is not enough, there should also be innovative strategic branding for it to be successful so I joined ASUS CEO training program (campus execution officer). I gotten third place amongst other college and universities that competed. From that point on, I try to explore my perspective internationally by joining 2008 and 2010 Work & Travel Project in USA program. Other than my original job, I was working on another case on the side. I spent endless hours trying to convince the restaurant owner to allow me to use to my profession to redesign the advertising ads and create a uniform image for the restaurant. The restaurant became quite popular at the local area and gained great feedbacks when they combined the new designs with marketing strategies. I've gained tons of experiences from working on this case, not only my language skills become more solid; it also brought my socializing skill and design skill to another level. At the graduation design show, I challenged the limitation of traditional design concepts and won the bronze medal for best design with my tumbler slippers.
My friends have always seen me as a “nut-head” who's willing to pursue anything I want despite the potential risks. If there is a solution to every problem in the end then why not try to challenge the problem from different prospective and hope for the best? I've always played role of group clown trying to bring happiness into everyone's life. I thank my parents for who I've become today. They taught me to be as independent as possible. I didn't come from a wealthy family. I was taught that nothing should be given but earned. When there is a problem, I should try to seek out the answer myself before I seek help from others. I've been fighting for my dreams ever since freshmen year, saving up money from part time job to make my dreams real. It is the first step for being responsible for myself.
After seven years of learning and gaining experience, I'm seeking one chance, one opportunity in the real world to give it all I got. I am what people called “80 generation”, passionate, tough, pressures will not crash me but make me stronger. I'm always well prepared to face any new challenge at anytime, anywhere. I'm currently taking extra English and Japanese course and computer design course. As for future career planning, I'm plan to become an all round designer, solving problems, making improvements, design something that will touch people's heart and help the company to build a positive image on the market.

Windows 8 concept Pad 2012 市售平板電腦多以搭配附加配件,達到保護 及站立的功能。而往往經設計師巧思後的平 板電腦,皆會被配件給覆蓋住,無法彰顯其 質感,但又礙於保護與站立的的需求明顯存 在於操作功能面,以至於無法省略配件。 重新思考平板電腦在使用上產生的問題,經 由設計改善,無須要再搭配其他配件而能讓 產品最美好的一面展現出來,並且達到容易 使用及方便使用的需求。

Design Motive
—平板電腦,往往經由研發團隊與工程師長期的努力下,由裡極薄的科技技術至外極致的工藝設 計,才能達到既輕又薄的雙重極致。但往往卻忽略了消費者最基本的感受---保護。 以至於市面上出現了許多迎合消費者需求所生產出來的產品,保護殼。各式各樣且多變的保護 殼,雖然達到了保護的功能,卻遮蔽了一開始消費者對產品心動的初衷。
Design Thinking 在求新求變,且產品世代轉換極快的時代,重新站在設計師與使用者之間的角度,重新切入平板 電腦的使用問題,讓平板電腦在無須搭配額外的配件,同時及能達到站立且保護的功能,並讓設 計師的外觀巧思能能完整呈現。 功能+美觀=實用 經由設計,平板電腦背蓋的花紋可直接凹折成站立的支架,巧妙的將功能隱藏在花紋中,達到美 觀兼實用的效果,並讓使用者使用產品的過程中能直接接觸到產品本身的質感,得到最初購買產 品那分初衷與感動。
螢幕:外緣下沉式的設計,讓螢幕的視覺產生延伸,使之螢幕有變大的錯覺。 背蓋:讓摺痕巧妙的融入背蓋的花紋設計,藉由花紋的多變性,可延伸出許多不同的系列產品。
JUMPad 三角形折立式設計,讓平板電腦在站立之後,擁有多方向站立的功能,更 能符合使用者在操作使用上的情境。 將JUMPad站立後放置於桌慢,無須要將平板從桌面上拿起即可透過輕 推,讓平板輕易的轉換角度,達到使用順手且便利的愉快使用經驗。

Design Motive 靈感來自於偶然的一次折紙,方正的便利貼恰可折成正三角錐,重心位於中心點的錐狀形態,讓四面都 得以平均施力的站穩。

Prototype 在測試的過程中,最大的困難點是找出最穩固的中心點,讓四方站立的同時,操作平板電腦能穩固且不會 傾倒,以每5mm重新推移芳是作微調。其次抓到重心後,須挑戰讓四方站立能皆有不同的傾斜度,達到使 用者多角度的使用習慣,如打字角度與閱讀角度。最後影響皮套變成角錐的穩固度,則是強力磁鐵的排列 方式,強力磁鐵的分布與S/N極互斥的排列遠近,是影響保護套吸力強度的主要因素。

Housewares slipper 2010 重新詮釋拖鞋的形態,從靜物到生命。這是一 雙與眾不同的室內拖鞋,總是在你離開時,站 在門口目送你離開;總是在你回來的時候,站 在玄關迎接你回來。 當你不穿拖鞋時,它總會以15度角站立著,微 傾的角度讓你更容易穿上,且讓正面永遠朝 上。就算拖鞋散在室內各地,鮮豔的色彩也像 個裝飾品般裝飾我們的家。

Design Motive 人們透過五感,將感覺所帶來的刺激在腦中組合,形成印象。經過一段時間再次接觸後,喚醒原有 的五感記憶,叫做熟悉。此外感並不能被清楚的分界,例如:吃了一個菠蘿油麵包,可以嗅到濃郁的奶油 香,而舌頭嚐到微鹹的奶油味,也接觸到奶油的滑順觸感。 現今的產品創作,包容性比以往寬大,功能和形式可以分離,而身為設計師的我們必須為產品創造 新的有意義形態與價值,才能為消費者帶來不一樣的感受。產品的傳達不只是意像或設計工作者意念的 傳達,設計師更要必須用心的去感受生活中的驚喜與感動,並進一步將這些心念藉由創作傳遞。因此如 何透過情感傳達手法,讓使用者對於產品的感覺不僅限於使用,應強調產品設計表達某一種信念,使用 者因產品所散發發出的情感內涵所感動,產生想要擁有或值得保存的。不只僅限於產品功能,還包括產 品所引發對人內心感之的深刻情感,表現在磣品形態上,讓使用者深刻體驗與拾起回憶,當使用產品時 內心感到愉快與喜悅,讓產品與人之間能保持親和的關係。在這樣的情感表達方式運作之下,讓現在處 於社會壓力下的人,從中得到另一種壓力的釋放與情感寄託。 人們不再因為單純需求而購買,會考慮物體的內在含意,最後的決定買與不買通常是感受的問題, 而且大部分都是衝動下購買,或是剎那尖的念頭區使而購買的情況居多。

Dream Come True NoteBool You write the schedules and works down in the notebook, but can not be finished on time often. Because of laziness!!Not only lose the meaning of notebook (never put off till tomorrow what should be done today), but also put off everything you planed.

傳統刨絲刀所帶來的危險與不便
無固定的容器 削屑時容器易滑動,使屑易灑出 蔬果溼滑不易握拿 容易因濕滑而削到手
Grater 1.削皮 2.去芽 3.鱷魚延伸出的尾巴當人體工學握把,並結合咬花塑膠,防滑、好拿 4.桶狀刨絲刀面結合兩種刀口,可削出兩種大小。刨絲後的蔬菜會自動收集於桶狀內,防止削時四處散落 5.底部一圈止滑圈,防止使用中滑動亦或不銹鋼與桌面的摩擦。
